They provided me with a roofer and an electrician to replace the attic fan. It was done promptly efficiently, and the technicians were very courteous. After the installation they cleaned up and explained everything that they had done. I was very satisfied."

"We discussed our electrical project with customer service after submitted a detailed description with Home Advisors. We advised that we had all the electric fixtures already purchased. We reviewed our project, fixtures, our concerns and discussed dates for install. Costs for each install part was discussed with us. install was set up about 2 weeks from date of booking. We received a call from customer service that the staff were on their way on the date of install. The staff arrived and introduced themselves, very personable and friendly. The two installers put on booties and we walked thru the whole project - going over the install and they were able to answer questions easily. We received an approximate amount of time to finish the job as we had several ceiling fixtures, replace bathroom shower lites and exhaust fans, high hat lites, hallway lites, and several switches. The installers put down drop clothes for every job, had ladders for the ceiling lites, and cleaned up very well in all the areas. They placed the old fixtures in our garage as we are going to recycle these to Habitat for Humanity. We and the installers walked thru and checked out all the new electrical fixtures -everything worked perfectly. The costs were the same as the estimate - no surprises. We also discussed some other possible electrical jobs for the future. For privacy, we will not name the installers, just indicate their initials - K & R - would definitely have them back to do future jobs for us and we would recommend them to others."

"It was okay, but it was not right. The guy was not very punctual, and he came late. We had to reschedule a couple of times. I refused to pay anymore than $419. At the same time they left some work unfinished because of that. They were saying that they need more time and money to do some of the work. I had to question whether it was something they could have questioned before or not because initially the second time you can do everything, then it's only well within the day when they said sorry we will not be able to finish the work today, either pay more or we stop there. Two people did the work, it was for four hours. It was more about professionalism and customer service. It's great to understand what the customer wants to do and give an appropriate solution, all the while respecting the customer's time, and expectations. My problem was that I ended up having to reschedule several times. On the day they came they were at least an hour late. When they were here, rather than managing my expectations and telling me yes it is possible or no it's not possible, they didn't seem to care. They call me and tell me they are going to leave now, and what do I do. That's not my problem and that's the thing I don't like."

"I was extremely pleased with the work of Reliable Workers Construction LLC. I decided to have a good bit of work done in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo before I moved into it. Reliable Workers Construction performed skillful work with reliable workers. They built and painted three window sill bookcases and installed shelves in a closet. They installed two kitchen ceiling lights and replaced most of the electrical outlets and light switches. They repaired a balcony screen door by fixing the latch and replacing the screens. They installed a microwave. They repaired an under-sink water line to the dishwasher. They replaced doorknobs and balanced a damaged door. They replaced 3 faucets and installed a bidet attachment to a toilet. They caulked and grouted wherever needed. They painted all the woodwork, walls and ceilings. And they cleaned up after themselves very carefully. The workers were unfailingly courteous, friendly and agreeable, even though I added additional work several times. When I saw a couple of things that needed to be done differently, they were cheerful and business-like without resentment. They continually kept me up to date on their progress. Their prices were more than reasonable. My entire experience with the workers and their work was positive and even surprising because of their superior work ethic and standards. They take great pride in doing an excellent job."

"Murphy's Plumbing replaced a portion of our sewer line. Jeff presented us with a cost efficient and minimally invasive solution, involving running our line above ground and under our oil tank. He assured us this is "not a big deal". Other plumbers were more alarmist recommending tearing up a lot of our concrete floor or even draining and removing our oil tank to run the line under ground. Steve and crew were extremely efficient and clean, completing the work exactly as expected and on time. Listening to the crew work in the basement, I could tell they are very concerned with doing quality work and have a lot of pride for their trade. Sewer issues are miserable, but Murphy's presented a level-headed and simple solution and took the stress our of the problem. I hope we never need a plumber again, but the reality is we will be hiring them again!"
