"Thank you, Jacob and Chris! They did an excellent job resolving the ongoing issue with our kitchen drain. They took the time to identify the problem. We needed to have the line replaced due to a build-up. Once they explained the issue and we gave the OK, they promptly fixed it. Thanks again, Jacob and Chris!"

"A to Z converted our wood burning fireplace into an infrared electric fireplace and custom built trim to hold the new fireplace in the opening. My husband and I are elderly and the wood fireplace was of no use to us due to the physical demands of handling wood and cleaning ash. ....electric was the perfect solution to warming the living area while keeping our utility bill low!"

"4 stars because this is a good company I have done business in 25 years I've lived here. It's full basement 46yr old home, and I know every inch of the plumbing. I have sealed downstairs past issues from backflow and clogged drains. I know I have root problems if left untreated. I had a blockage that prevented flow to the outside drain, it was in the area between inside turn out and outside. I told the tech every detail of this, but he acted like I was more a hindrance to his process. He was not able to break into the blockage from outside and said it was the interior. He then walked around inside up and down in and out for 1/2 hrs before pulling a stool and snaking all the way down to the turn out without finding a plug. I just let him go at and finally said stop. I asked him to try from frt again, he was not reaching thru inside. He packed up and said my foundation sunk. I was charged $180 an hour 2.25 hours but he was here 1.6 hours. I pulled a large root ball out on my own"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Brookline, MO

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
