"The job was sub-contracted to a "bathroom team".  They did a good job with the drywall and electrical work, but the finishes do not look very professional.  The tile work was not precise or level on the wall or floor.  Yes, we do have an old house, but the bathroom was down to the studs so all new subfloor and concrete board were installed. The trim work was done hastily and we had to have Mr. Rollins come back to see it before they would agree to redo it. They also vented the bathroom fan out the side of the wall, which we have come to find is not the best practice.  Since completion, all of the towel racks have fallen out and had to be redone with proper drywall hardware, we've had a sink leak and toilet leak because the toilet moves back and forth on the uneven tile.  My husband had to shim it and replace the towel ring.  I did reach out to Mr. Rollins a few months after project  completion about the loose towel racks and rocking toilet and he said he would have someone out to repair things, but when I clarified that if there was a charge for the repairs we would take care of them ourselves, I never heard back.  Overall, I felt the project was rushed.  Additionally, as our first major remodel, I think we were expecting a higher level of guidance from the contractors than what we received. For example, we weren't told that we'd purchased a tub faucet without a shower diverter and only discovered it when we tried to use the shower. We should have done more research so we were more informed going in.

"Upon our invitation after getting Innovative Garages as a potential contractor from Angie's List, Fritz Klooz, owner, came to our house and inspected our garage and listened to our needs. He then sent us a proposal (including the estimated cost) via e-mail, which we subsequently accepted. Fritz scheduled our work, and we sent a 25% down payment. The first day's work included installing the StoreWall panels, prepping the floor, and applying the first coat of epoxy. An additional coat was applied each of the next two days. Fritz and his team did excellent work. We were really pleased with the quality and felt the work met or exceeded our expectations. The cost came out exactly according to the estimate, and we felt we got a lot of value for what we paid."
