"Steven Ault of Valdel assessed the problems, and provided the option of replacing toilet internal components only, or replacing toilets with new, quiet, reduced-water-use toilets. He also discovered that our home's water pressure regulator had failed, indicating that the water pressure inside our home was excessive, which could result in failure of plumbing inside the house, which, of course, is something no one wants. He single-handedly addressed all of our issues in the course of a few hours, and everything is now working perfectly, and quietly. We didn't obtain competitive pricing, but we could not be more satisfied with the work Steven performed."

"My initial contact with Mattioni was to simply schedule a winter check-up on the furnace in our new house. I knew the furnace, a/c, and water heater were all about 11 years old and could be in need of replacement. One month later, I’ve had Mattioni replace all three and also perform some smaller plumbing jobs after the annual healthy home plumbing inspection they offer as part of their contract program (which came free for one year after I had the furnace and a/c installed). They’ve done too much work for me to go into detail on every aspect of every job they did, but, on the whole I have been very impressed with Mattioni. Their customer service, quality, and attention to detail seems top notch. If you’re just comparing prices, they’re probably not the cheapest contractor to use, but if you factor in the quality of the service they’re providing, I think their prices are very good, which is why I rated them A in this regard. As with any big jobs like installing a furnace or water heater, small hiccups can occur - in fact, a week after the furnace was installed and I had the plumbing inspection, a small gas leak was detected. After the hot water heater was installed, one of the fittings in the pipe that leads into the water heater leaked a small amount of water and set off the alarm they installed. In my view, small hiccups like this are to be expected when new installations occur. Where Mattioni really shined was in their response to these problems. In particular, I would recognize Jared C., the plumber who did most of our plumbing work. He noticed the small gas leak and had one of the HVAC techs sent out within several hours to address it. He also returned the late the same day he had installed the hot water heater to correct the small leak that had resulted from a defective fitting. I found his attention to detail and willingness to help my wife troubleshoot over the phone and then return late after a long day and fix the small problem to be exemplary customer service. On the whole, I highly recommend Mattioni. If you’re just interested in finding the contractor with the lowest price, Mattioni is probably not going to be your preferred contractor (although they were willing to match lower quotes I received on the hot water heater install). If you’re looking for an HVAC or plumbing company that has responsive and friendly customer service, technicians that pay attention to detail and treat your house as your own, and will ensure that the job is done both correctly and with a high degree of quality, Mattioni seems to be one of the best I’ve used in my years as a homeowner. They will certainly be my go-to plumber and HVAC company for the foreseeable future."

I loved the text message with the pic and profile of the technician. Great idea! Steve was wonderful! He took the time to explain what needed to be done and the cost before he did any work. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional and answered all my questions. I was so confident in his abilities. that I asked him to replace a pressure regulator that I had on my to do list. Again, he took the time to explain why it needed to be replaced and the pressure difference after it was installed. Overall, I was very impressed with Steve and Valdel Plumbing. "<p>We bought an old twin house in Mont Clare that had radiators and a old oil burner in the basement, no duct work.  We had four companies come out to our house and most gave us super high estimates and I think they were scared to take on the project.  Matt came out and gave us a fair price.  He was on time, very knowledgeable.  Chris came out and worked the design, very easy to work with, also very knowledgeable.  Both Matt and Chris use to install HVAC for unique, now they are in sales and design, which is something I really appreciate as a customer.  Brandon came out with his crew and did an amazing job.  Again, everyone in this company is super knowledgeable.  We were having gas installed to our house around the same time, and the guys from Unique were in contact with the gas providers making sure everything was running smoothly.  I never hire anyone for anything, I do everything myself.  I would highly recommend Unique, I would use them again, and the over all experience was great.  The system that they installed was everything that we wanted.  Great Job Unique!</p> <p> </p>"

"This review is solely about the installation portion of the Puronics Water Treatment System since it was just installed today. The install team arrived on time, ready to go to work. The location of my main water line was tricky to get to, but they found a great solution to tap into the line via a drop-ceiling access point. They located the Hydronex Water Conditioning Cylinder and Salt Backflush Container exactly where I wanted it. Their work was clean, tight, and very professional. The RO system was backordered, so they explained that they will return within the week to install that portion of the project. They prepped for the RO install by drilling and installing the faucet in my granite countertop. After the install, they explained the whole system to my wife and I and we were up and running with conditioned water. I can't say enough about my experience with Chuck on the initial phone call, Miles who provided the water testing and sold me the system, and Ryan who installed the system. So far, I can't envision any issues that might arise with Orbit Water Solutions since they have provided outstanding service to this point!"
