"Robert and his crew did some extensive remodeling for my needs. He installed a new full bathroom, remodeled one bathroom for wheelchair access, and remodeled a third bathroom. His crew installed new tile floors, and repaired the old tile floors. They installed wide doors exterior doors to accommodate wheelchair. And they enclosed a patio into an insulated sun-room. Robert was easy to work with, and was real reasonable. He also did a lot of work under Veterans Administration and ADA guidelines and was qualified and approved to do veteran Adapted Housing. I highly recommend Robert and his crew."

"<p>We have been completely delighted with the work performed by Southern Outdoor Appeal.  Matt Channel - the owner and designer - patiently worked with us as we considered various options - and arranged for us to visit completed projects to help scope the type of material that we ultimately selected.  Matt and his team were so helpful, and allowed us to explore various options without any pressure to select one material over another.  They gave their opinions when asked - which we appreciated. As the design proceeded, it became apparent that there would need to be some additional work done to deal with some drainage problems. Matt recommended a landscaping firm that we hired separately to solve the drainage problem. We appreciated the fact that Matt steered us to a good firm to solve a problem that could have been quite serious if not dealt with properly.</p> <p>The bid for the work was clearly explained up front, as was the payment approach. Matt was very careful (and conservative) when presenting the schedule for the work - not over-promising.  Once the plans were approved and the city building permit obtained, Matt scheduled the construction and had his crew on the job as promised.  We appreciated the crew's professionalism - very clean on the jobsite with attention to cleaning up daily and making sure that any hazards were dealt with. This was important as we have two curious preschool grandsons who could have easily gotten into the work materials. Matt and his project manager Joey were easily accessible for questions, and made regular visits to the jobsite to ensure the work was progressing as envisioned.</p> <p>Near the completion of the work we had a change of mind and added some lights to the deck.  Matt incorporated the changes and arranged for an electrician crew to perform the installation. All of the workers - from the framers to the man who came to haul away the leftover construction debris - were courteous and professional. Matt and Joey performed the final inspection - and Joey personally took care of some remaining details that needed to be done.</p> <p>In summary, we are 100% satisfied with the design, quality workmanship, and personal service provided by Matt Channel and his team at Southern Outdoor Appeal. We recommend them without hesitation or reservation!  All of the "A" ratings that we gave are completely warranted!</p>"

"Jimmy Odom, the owner was very quick to respond to our call and gave us a very fair estimate.  He estimated it would take four weeks for delivery but in actually, it arrived and was installed in three weeks. <br /> <br /> His carpenter, Dennis was very professional and demolished an existing pergola in a very short time making sure everything was removed from the premises. <br /> <br /> The awning was installed precisely as expected with Mr Odom present to assure the work was completed in a timely manner. <br /> <br /> HIGH RECOMMENDED for any outdoor work such as decking, awnings, outdoor kitchens, etc.  We definitely plan to use them again."

"Bought nice gas grill from BBQ Outfitters & they recommended Ember Outdoor to build the kitchen to match existing stone on our 1-year old house. Dwayne perfectly matched the stone, installed the grill & drawers/doors underneath, installed the gas shut off & water hydrant on the outside for easy access, & built privacy wall with airflow design (1st photo). Two years later, Dwayne came back to build an extension of stone & privacy wall to screen neighbors' new pool from our view (2nd photo). He did such a good job on both that everyone thinks they were originally installed by the builder when house was built, & they can't believe it's three separate stone installations over a 3-year period.
