"My pipes busted due to freezing weather. Everyone I've called told me tomorrow, but when I called this company he was able to come out within 30 mins. He looked at the damage and explained to me exactly what needed to be fixed. I have to say I had two pipes which one was to the main house and the other for my water softener. I haven't used the water softener in years so he told me that he can fix both pipes but it costs a little bit more or he could just fix the pipe that goes to the house and it won't cost that much. I was very happy that he was honest with me about the situation. I think if somebody else would have come out, they would have taken advantage of my situation. If anything else breaks down in my house I would definitely call him again and I would recommend him to all my friends. He has done a remarkable job and I am grateful to him and his prompt service."

"Pipepals plumbing was 10 stars! Choice was 4 stars. They were timely in assigning the job but I had to keep an eye in the website as notifications did not get pushed via email as expected. They also wouldn't cover all the work recommended by the plumber. Essentially I had a broken pvc in an outside faucet and they wanted him to reuse the faucet instead of replacing it. So I would have had a 1/2 in pipe with 2 connectors...to an old faucet just to save $30. I paid out of pocket so it's right but really? Again plumber was AWESOME. Showed early and returned next day to confirm leak was fixed and patched the holes."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
