"Wilbur called me the same day I requested a quote for his expertise. Within a few hours he was at my apartment verifying that there is in fact black mold growing in my carpeting and wrote me up a report to submit to my landlord as I am pregnant and need this matter addressed. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about resolving the predicament I am in. I would recommend his service to anyone and will most definitely be utilizing him for mold remediation in my next home."

"I was glad with how fast, friendly, easy it went for me to turn it in and get results quickly. They helped with my Angie's discount so it was good to know i got the best price (less than I imagined) to have this done. The possibility of having mold in a house is stressful enough... glad to have this go smoothly."

"Tyler was great - he knows his stuff, he's always looking to share his knowledge to make sure homeowners can live in a mold-free house. I had two estimates done for the work (a lot of mold was seen in the ceiling of a bedroom, it was also in one of the walls), and Chesapeake Environmental came in quite a bit lower than the other one. There ended up being more mold than originally thought (it was hard to spot evidence for, both estimates and myself missed it), so there a addition to the scope of the project, but it was still done by the original deadline. The workers were great about closing off an area to prevent spread of mold while they worked, and were punctual and hard-working - can't ask for anything more."

"The Mold removers were quick to respond to our request for help. They came and assessed the damage and were clear and concise about pricing giving best case and worse case scenarios. They were able to effectively contain and remove all the mold and treat the room appropriately to prevent mold spore contamination from spreading to other areas! Thank you for getting rid of all the mold!"

"I recommend Enviroquest to my clients all the time and they are always happy. Enviroquest is diligent, professional, and just good at what the do. And they install Radon Mitigation systems themselves! (which most inspections companies don't do) Can't go wrong with Enviroquest for all your home inspection needs!"

"I recently received a quote of $9,000 from another contractor for the same scope of work. Certain actions by that contractor during the inspection of my house made me uncomfortable with using that company so I contacted BW Solutions. Within a very short time of arriving, this estimator saved me $9000 because he said I neither had mold nor needed any upgrade to my drainage system. I feel totally relieved that my house has no major problems and that I don't have to put a lot of money into it, but more astonishing is how dishonest some companies can be, especially when dealing with a single woman. The representative from the first company actually coughed on the way down my basement steps and told me that was him reacting to the mold in my basement. However, he never coughed again during the entire next 20 minutes we spent in the basement. Thank you BW Solutions for being one of the few remaining honest businesses. Despite it costing your company a potential job this time, I will definitely call you again in the future should a need arise and I've already told my story to several friends."

"Great experience from start to finish.  I set up an appointment in early September to get an estimate, Tuan showed up at the scheduled time and explained clearly the most likely issue causing high radon levels and what they would do to fix it.  We set up another appointment for them to come back for the repairs.  The employee showed up as scheduled and got right to work.  He cut out a section of the mitigation pipe, dug out the blockage that was between the pipe and the water proofing trench, and replaced the pipe.  He then sealed the sump pit cover as well as several feet of wall where the water proofing system was not correctly finished.  Our radon level prior to repair was 5.9pCi/L.  The EPA guideline is for the level to be no more than 4.0pCi/L.  After repairs, our level was 0.8pCi/L, well below the EPA guideline.  We are extremely pleased with the service American Radon Solutions provided and highly recommend them. <br />"

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Camp Hill, PA

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
