"Bob?s crew did a great job. I would definitely hire him again. They came when they said and did the job quickly. I supplied the fans and they installed them at a good price."

"Hutchinson was responsive to my needs, and provided timely information given I needed a new heater/hot water heater. Their prices and quote was reasonable. Personally, I wouldn't use anyone else for HVAC needs- one statement says it all when attempting to compare prices and services- you get what you pay for, and I beleive I made an excellent decision by choosing Hutchinson. Installation techs were prompt, polite and careful with my time and home. They are real keepers. Thanks Mike ans Nick! Recommend you 100%."

"Phil(owner) is as good as it gets. Old-school quality work/care, put into the job. Needed, or "thought"we needed more amps -added to our 100a service Because of "flickering" lights throughout the home. Nope. We were only told this by 3 other electricians. Phil, came out, and gave me the HONEST scoop -on what was really wrong: just a freshening up, of all of the hardware, connectors, and corrosion, that had built up, on the service over the years. Very reasonable, and very reliable. I can't say enough. Integrity, means everything to me, as a consumer/man. Phillip, is as good as it gets. If you want an honest electrician. Job performed: upgraded ALL components/parts of our 100A service/panel."

"VIncenzo installed two security cameras on the outside of our house. It took 2 guys about 4 hours. They mostly did a good job, but had forgotten to bring some standard "molly" wall anchors; luckily I had extras. There were a few very minor aesthetic things could have been improved on, but not worth their hourly rate to me to spend their time redoing. I'd give them 9/10, which is great - a 10/10 job would have taken too much time."

"We've got American Home Shield. So that kinda varies but united air temp has done some work for us. Probably a couple years ago, I think so. I think its two years ago. They did work on our air conditioning. Well you know with American Home Shield you only pay $75.00. You sign up for a year , its like something you subscribe to.  You call and contact American Home Shield and they have somebody contact you whose in line with their services and agrees to work with them. You pay $75.00 and if its not done correctly for each visit but if they come back twice you don't pay again. Its like 400 and something a year. Its fabulous, its fabulous. If you need plumbing , H VAC, lighting, its amazing. Its worth every dime. And if they can't fix it they replace it at no charge unless you want to upgrade There are some different companies but even when we refinanced our house they had us, no we bought another house in Winchester for our son. And they made us have it in with our policy and they use American Home shield. its fabulous and you don't have to do the searching or anything, If you aren't happy you just tell American Home shield. One time United Air Temp tried to talk us into , they did some plumbing work too, and they were going try to talk us into replacing it with a cheap model. That isn't American Home Shield policy its with the same thing or you can pay to upgrade. Pay the balance of an upgrade. We use it all the time. When my son has issues with his house I tell him just call American Home Shield. They guarantee they will be out within 72 hrs but its usually within 24 hours. We contacted them last week about my son's air conditioning. They came out right away, they had to order something. They had to come back out and they did last Wednesday and they fixed it."

"I had a very good experience and was very satisfied. My initial job required a pipe repair behind a paneled wall. Chris was very careful in removing the panels and replacing them once the repair was complete. The problem was more extensive than we expected and also required accessing the pipe from outside the house. This meant removing some of  the vinyl siding and putting it back. Once complete, you could not even tell where the repair took place.
Second job went equally well. I found the workmanship very good and Chris and his co-worker were very professional and completed the job in a timely manner.

FAQs for attic or whole house fan installation projects in Cape May, NJ

Installing an attic fan lowers attic temperatures and reduces moisture, protecting stored items and extending the life of roofing materials. It also prevents mold, mildew, and paint deterioration, enhancing energy efficiency and comfort in the home. This type of protection helps you avoid costly repairs in the future and maintains the integrity of your home.

Installing an attic fan may require multiple professionals. A roofing specialist or carpenter can create the vent and mount the fan securely, while a licensed electrician connects the system to the home's electrical supply. A dedicated attic fan installer may be able to tackle all of these areas themselves, so be sure to confirm what services they can provide. Hiring qualified professionals ensures the installation is safe and the attic fan operates reliably.

The lifespan of an attic fan depends on the type and how well it is maintained. Passive attic fans can last 40 to 50 years, while electric and solar models typically last 10 to 15 years. Regular cleaning and maintenance help ensure the fan operates reliably and safely. Ask your installation pro for their recommendations for ongoing maintenance and service to help your attic fan last for as long as possible.
