"Dear Michael & Son Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally express my disappointment and frustration with the lack of service I received today. As a customer enrolled in your Unlimited Service Plan, I expect timely communication, reliability, and a basic level of professionalism. Unfortunately, today?s experience fell well below those expectations. The service provided was inadequate, and the lack of follow-through and responsiveness was unacceptable?especially for a customer paying for a premium plan that is advertised as offering priority care and peace of mind. Being on the Unlimited Plan was a key factor in my decision to continue doing business with your company. Experiences like this call that decision into question. I did not feel valued as a customer, nor did I receive the level of service your company promotes. I would appreciate a follow-up to discuss this matter and understand how you intend to resolve it. "

"I used Kitchen Trends (Randy Smith) to take out my single kitchen sink and put in a double stainless steel sink and garbage disposal both of which I had already purchased. I had three other contractors come to look at the job and all declined. The counter top had to be enlarged for the new sink to be installed and all others declined because of fear of cracking the counter top when cutting the extra space. Randy assured me he could do the job. I hired him and he did the job to perfection. That's what he is. A perfectionist ! Cost wise maybe a slight higher than others but then you get what you pay for."

"Excellent experience with Broadley's. We were in the need of a new furnace and hot water heater as both went within a week of each other. We converted our hot water to gas and went tankless plus added getting a new air conditioner as our current was very old (same age as the other 2). Paul came out and answered any questions we had and sent over a proposal within 24 hours. A week later (by not fault of their own, we financed through the SJ gas program) 2 crews came out to start work on it. 1 crew worked on getting our furnace done so we had heat the first day while the other worked on getting our hot water lines set up for the tankless since it moved from the crawl space to inside on the other end of our house. The 2nd day, the new AC we installed and the tankless was finished. Bruce, Dan, Justin, and Jeff were awesome and very courteous the entire duration. Paul even stopped by to check the progress. Best experience with these guys and would recommend 10/10. They also are way more competitive with their pricing. (Not pictured is the furnace but great work!)"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Cape May Court House, NJ

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
