"I did a full HVAC replacement (2 furnaces, 2 AC units) with Shavitz and have nothing but good things to say. First, the quote process with Ken was both informative and honest. The installation team led by Mirek was great. They were efficient, clean and walked me through everything. All piping and ductwork was replaced in the utility closets and at the AC units and all was properly insulated. Their work is clean and clearly shows they know what they are doing. It was a two-day install and Ken made sure to stop by on day 1 to ensure that everything was completed as we discussed. The furnaces are even quieter than expected! It’s too cold to run the AC units and they will need a return visit to get that system activated but so far so good. I would highly recommend this team to anyone."

"Home Comfort Systems was professional, honest and fairly priced. Steve Bilica (owner) came out to give me an estimate on a new furnace. He made me feel comfortable, which is important to me as a single woman. His estimate was the lowest of three I obtained ($4150) and he was so honest, he advised that my current unit didn’t need replacing yet. (The only reason I was getting estimates was because some other cut-throat company told me I needed a new one...for $11k!!...due to a cracked heat exchanger. However, all the other companies I contacted for estimates said I did NOT have a cracked heat exchanger.) I decided not to get a new furnace in the end. It’s been running great, although I did need a new blower motor about five months after the estimate, so Jeff D installed it for me ($385). Way cheaper than a whole new unit, so I’m happy. I’ll definitely go with this company again for repairs and when it’s time for a new furnace."

"I bought a new (old) house in Brookfield and the air conditioner unit promptly failed. I got bids from three contractors I found via Angie's List. Not only did Jim at Vent give me the most competitive bid, he was hands down the most responsive to questions and phone calls, gave the most thorough inspection, and ended almost every conversation with a very sincere, "let me know if there's anything more I can do to win your business." On install day, his guys were early and ready to work. Jim showed up shortly after to supervise. My wife was there that day and he explained everything they were doing and why. He had budgeted 2-4 hours to do the job, but the previous install had been done so poorly that there was a lot of stuff they needed to fix so the new air conditioner was installed to their satisfaction, so they were there for more than 6 hours and didn't ask for a dime more than their quote. "Furnace went out in middle of the night. Primary reason I called TR Miller was pricing - over the summer a friend of mine had mentioned that she and another neighbor had their A/C and/or furnace replaced and that TR Miller's pricing was better than others.
I called TR Miller at 8am and had technician here by 11.  Larry was friendly and professional. He said I needed  a new ignitor and I asked him to clean the furnace as well - he appeared to do a very thorough job of cleaning the furnace.  He never tried to push buying a new furnace despite the age of my current one. In my experience with previous companies it seems they ALWAYS try to push you into buying a new furnace even if  your problem is a minor one, so I appreciated not having to deal with the sales pitch for a replacement furnace.   Larry even answered my questions and concerns about my humidifier.  TR Miller will be the first and only company I call next time!
