"Initially I requested an estimate for a plumbing project already in progress with some challenges. Keith responded immediately to get details and schedule to come out to look at what was needed. He proposed a solution that eliminated any impact to walls or tile to replace old valves and faucets. He and his team completed the work on time and were neat and professional and results were better than I expected. There was no damage at all to what was old tile. I subsequently had him assess an old water heater and decided to replace it. It had to go into a very small areas and be upgraded to code and he was able to solution the replacement to fit perfectly in the limited space. Previously on the project we had noticed a periodic odor of gas but no one had verified a source. Keith identified a leak in the area of the furnace right next to the water heater. We had decided to upgrade the furnace and AC and again Keith and his team were able to get an order in quickly, get the install done exactly as committed and fixed the gas leak in the process. Based on the quality of work performed in each case and the expertise of the team I hired Plumbing Tree again to assess an old furnace and AC at my primary residence. The furnace had been failing at the end of the winter but I waited for summer to replace and it had deteriorated and was not safe. Keith evaluated and gave me two options and was able to get the order in immediately after I decided to go ahead. He scheduled the install within a few days. His crew was on time and completed the install of furnace and AC in one day. Again they were neat, efficient, described all the changes from the old furnace and thermostat to the new and answered all my questions. Everything has been functioning just as I expected for both heat and AC. I recommend Plumbing Tree for these services based on quality and reliability - also cost was competitive and the team they used had the expertise required. Additionally they were easy to work with and I plan to use them again on another project. Thanks Keith and team- I appreciate the quality work!"

"This company is at a professional level that is extremely rare to see today. I was doing a major remodel and thought I would have to change my ductwork. They came by and examined the situation and rather than try and sell me some services that I didn’t really need, I was totally shocked when they informed me I didn’t have to make the change I thought I would. This type of professionalism is just not seen anymore today. While I may not have needed their services this time, I will definitely give them my business in the future."

"you want an honest and fair electric, heating and plumbing company, hire Tuscan and ask for Jim Cox. My attic fan stopped working causing my ac to work overtime. I hired a different electrician who came out, went into the attic and then put in a new switch, which didn’t solve the problem, charged about $350 and said I should have them put in a whole house fan for between $4,500 and $11,000, depending on the options I chose. That fan wouldn’t cool my attic and would draw hot air from outside into the living space. I then called Tuscan. Jim Cox came out, went into the attic, noticed the fan was humming but wouldn’t turn unless he pushed it with his pen. He made a video of the fan for me to watch. He then gave me a very reasonable quote to replace the fan, ordered it and told me I needed new insulation. The insulation company convinced me to seal the attic with insulating foam under the roof and on the gable ends, which would completely keep it from heating up. I called Jim and asked him to return the fan, which he did without complaint. I then received Tuscan’s invoice for $0. I now know where to go for electrical, heating and plumbing work."

"Nick came to assess my fireplace to determine how much work was needed to replace the burner and logs. He determined that the old unit was still working and good enough to keep, so he cleaned it up and reset it for us, saving us the cost of the new unit. Very professional and in the business to service rather than sell. Would highly recommend hiring Truco for fireplace repairs and maintenance."

FAQs for central humidifier installation and replacement projects in Castle Rock, CO

A crawl space dehumidifier is a worthwhile investment, particularly in humid climates or if you've noticed musty odors, mold growth, or wood deterioration. Though costs range from $3,000 to $9,200, this investment helps prevent structural damage that could require far more expensive repairs later. Beyond structural protection, a properly dehumidified crawl space contributes to better overall indoor air quality and may reduce allergens throughout your home. Consider having a professional assessment to determine if your specific situation warrants this investment.

Addressing crawl space moisture effectively often requires a combination of solutions. A complete approach includes encapsulation plus dehumidifier installation. For minor moisture issues, a basic dehumidifier starting at $1,500 may suffice, while severe problems in larger spaces could require systems costing up to $14,000. The most effective moisture control strategy depends on your specific conditions, making a professional assessment valuable for determining the most cost-effective approach for your situation.

For a crawl space measuring 1,500 square feet, you'll need a dehumidifier with a daily capacity of 30 to 50 pints, with unit costs ranging from $150 to $600. Your local climate and existing moisture levels may necessitate adjusting this capacity—homes in particularly humid regions might benefit from higher-capacity units. Professional installers can measure your specific humidity conditions and recommend equipment that is appropriately sized, balancing initial cost with operating efficiency for your unique situation.

Crawl space dehumidifiers add $300 to $500 to your annual electricity expenses when operating continuously. Energy-efficient models reduce this consumption by roughly 15 to 30% compared to standard units. Most contemporary dehumidifiers feature humidity sensors that automatically cycle operation based on current conditions, helping manage energy usage. Proper crawl space encapsulation significantly improves efficiency by creating a controlled environment that requires less dehumidifier runtime, thereby reducing ongoing electricity costs.
