"It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. I’ve gotten calls to insure we are satisfied with the work. Satisfied barely covers it- I am pleased to write this kind of review. "Sila was great about scheduling repair visit same day. Repairman showed up early (good), diagnosed problem before he even got to the unit (bad capacitor, buzzing), had part onboard truck, and then fixed it in less than 20 minutes, total visit. Charged me $439. Cost was $149 for diagnostic/visit + $290 for replacing the part. Repair was so quick that it was less labor than would have been required for a more common diagnostic. Since doing research after the visit, I'm of the opinion that the cost was excessive -- perhaps twice what it should have been. Service was good, but I would think twice before using Sila again, say, to replace this 17 yo system down the road."

Applied silicone to area to dampen the metal to metal rattle and tightened a loose metal strap which eliminated the noise."

"I have them come out twice a year for maintenance. I pay nothing when they come, I have a contract with them. They check the two heat pumps I have for routine service. They were here before and said I needed to fix something. They said it would be $1800 for repair it, so I should just get a new unit. To make a long story short I talked to a friend who works on air conditioners and he said it would be $300. They tried to sell me on something, the service is fine."
