"Harker Heating And Cooling is the best HVAC contractor we have ever worked with in 40 years. Their web site proudly says they are an “honest company with Midwestern values.” That is absolutely true. Their representative provided in-depth advice, answered our questions. and returned our messages. Their techs were knowledgeable, professional, careful, and friendly. They were on time, on call, and on budget. The service they provided for us over the years could not be better. So when the time finally came to replace our old furnace and A/C we selected them. Unfortunately, they encountered many unexpected problems installing our new equipment. Many more than they had anticipated for the job. But their representative pledged to address every one of them no matter how hard it was for them or how much of their time it took. And that is exactly what they did. No quibbling and no questions. They got the job done right. If you want an honest family contractor who stands behind what they do, and lives by those Midwestern values, then this is the company to hire. You will be glad you did. "Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"Heath saved the day! I was hosting a afternoon party and woke up to a 62° house. After contacting Angie’s list for emergency service they recommended Heath. He was here within 45 minutes after contacting. He was pleasant, professional and knows his trade. After diagnosing the problem he said it was the intake motor, he examined it finding a blockage which he removed then cleaned. He even went the extra mile checking to see if the motor was still under warranty In case it was compromised and checked back with me the next day. He didn’t charge me an emergency call only the service fee which was very reasonable. I will use him in the future for any furnace or air conditioning needs as I know he is dependable, honest, skilled and a nice guy."

"I had a large, aging, leaking cedar shake roof with a raised flat roof area in the center. Loved the look of the shakes but it just had to go. The pitch was wrong for shakes and I had leaking going on in several areas. I needed the entire roof replaced.

I called multiple roofers to look at the situation and give me an estimate. Several came out, took one look at the job, said they'd get back to me with an estimate and I never heard from them again. A couple listened to my description of the job, told me they'd call me back and never did. Others came out and gave me a generic description of what they would do and how much they wanted.

Chris Rounds from All-Star Installations came out, looked it over, told me exactly what he would do to give me a watertight roof, plus adding in the need for better venting - of which I had zero in the attic, removing an old TV antenna previous roofers never even offered to take down, repairing the furnace flue on the top of the roof and replacing a cracked globe on a solar tube light I had for one of the bathrooms. He gave me a very detailed list of what he would do and a very fair estimate for the job per replacing both sections of roofing.

Needless to say, he got the job.

His crew showed up on time and I had to feel bad for them because the job was done in the middle of a brutal heat wave and the shake roof was heavily infested with hornets. Tearing off that old shake roof was a brutal job but they kept at it and got the job done.

And was a fabulous job they did with the roof they put on! I thought after shakes I could never appreciate a standard roof on this house but the job All-Star Installations did was absolutely AWESOME. My reaction when I saw the new roof was, geez, why didn't I do this years ago??? It looks great!

I cannot say enough in praise of All-Star Installations. They did the job on time, on budget and cleaned up absolutely everything at the finish of the job. I am more than pleased with my new roof and I know you will feel the same if you hire them to do yours.

"I have been with AHS since 1999 and have used them 4 times: dryer belt broke, dishwasher leaked, heat pump quit working properly, and dryer stopped working. Yes, it is frustrating to wait on hold for a long time, but I have been pleased overall with the service provided. They subcontract the work out, and in the case of the dryer, the guy did not know how to fix the problem and left. AHS followed up immediately with another provider, who had fixed my first dryer problems 8 years ago, and was very knowledgable and did an excellent job. Service charge is standard $75. I have an annual maintenance plan for my heating/cooling systems with a heating company and when they came out this past fall, they found a problem with the heat pump and quoted the fix at $2,000 plus. I called AHS and they confirmed my heat pump was covered under the warranty and sent someone out the very next day. They immediately fixed the problem and I paid them the $75 service fee. Thus far, I have had good experiences and will continue my annual plan with them."

"Fantastic! Choice Home Warranty sent Flexi-Air Heat & Cool out the very next day and they did an awesome job. They were very knowledgeable and explained everything that needed to be done. Couldn't ask for anything better."
