"We have been using Golden Aire for maintenance and repairs for the past 8 years. They are professional, knowledgeable and courteous, as well as fair in their pricing. Case in point, we had Daniel come out to do our summer A/C maintenance. Daniel discovered that coils were bad and leaking coolant. We received our quote for the parts and repair. The cost was estimated at $3k (ouch!) Parts were ordered and Daniel came out within a weeks' time. I can't state highly enough how impressed we were with Daniel's knowledge, professionalism and most importantly care. Daniel was able to save us $1,300 as he discovered that after fixing the Nitrogen leak and replacing the refrigerant there was no need to replace the coils. I know other less scrupulous companies would have milked us for a higher invoice price especially since the coils were ordered. "If you are in a jam, up against the wall, desperate or just plain don't know any other plumbing resource, then call Bonney. They are fast, courteous, professional - and outrageously expensive.
We called for plumbing help Friday AM and they sent someone out Monday. The plumber was here first thing, diagnosed the problem and wrote up a proposal. It was steep, but he was ready to solve all our plumbing problems, one stop and no more fuss - so I approved it.
In less than 90 minutes he had cleared the urinal drain and installed a new kitchen faucet. The faucet is exceptionally ugly, the worst Home Depot model possible. My mistake for accepting his choose A,B or C option. Although he indicated he would have to remove the urinal from the wall to access the drain line, I think he had a change of mind - the drain was rodded through the outlet after all, no removal - about 10 minutes work.
The bill was $1260. The (ugly) faucet was a $100 Home Depot special, call it $260 with steep contractor markup. That means his 90 minutes of labor was around $1,000 or $666 per hour. I wouldn't pay a divorce attorney that kind of money, even if I was Gwyneth Paltrow!
No complaints about the work or the professionalism - but man that price.

"Just had the initial diagnostic visit. I was given terrible news (I'll probably end up getting a new furnace $$$), but the technician Ricky was wonderful. He was extremely polite, professional, and friendly. He did a very thorough inspection and then gave me a very thorough explanation of the problems. This included photos he took on the spot of some internal parts (oil leakage, heavy dust & dirt, stress markings).... at no point did I feel like I couldn't trust what he was telling or showing me. He answered every question I had. He went into the "attic" of my Eichler to check the ductwork (via a 14" hole in the closet ceiling, into space so shallow and tight I have no idea how the ductwork was ever even installed), and came out with photos to show me. The company was easy to work with when I had to change appointments, sent me email and text confirmations of everything, and gave me a day-before reminder of the appointment. I had an 8a- 11a window and received a text at 7:50a letting me know the technician was on his way, with a photo of him included. Perfect, perfect, perfect. The visit was $89 but reduced to $39 because I signed up for the MVP membership: $107 for a year which gets me all kinds of free services plus discounts on everything else. It even includes services on my water heater which they did not install! Additionally, they have some really good guarantees, MVP or not. Before leaving he called the office, explained all he'd found, and handed me the phone to set up an appointment with a "comfort specialist". Ariel (on the phone) was also extremely polite, professional, and friendly. These people are trained right! Or they're hiring very well. So, I will be meeting with someone to discuss repairs vs. replacement options. No repair work has been done yet (although Ricky did do a temporary fix that is allowing me to get some heat), so I can't fully review the company. But thus far I'm 100% pleased. This is probably the best experience I've ever had with any kind of repair technician. I've never used them before and have also never written a review before. The experience was just that good. I'll write another when I've finished with them just to give a full review, but so far perfect!"

"They showed up and had it fixed within minutes, however 2 days later it went out again. They came back and again fixed it pretty quick, however it went out the next morning . Other than telling me the system was old they didn't say the system needed anything, but did try to get me to make an appointment with their sales guy. My guess is that the service guy gets a commission if customers by a new unit. I think that would explain why they don't waste time fixing old systems for a few hundred dollars and more time trying to sell you a new system for several thousands."

"Bon was very helpful and luckily had an opening for my HVAC unit during a crazy heat wave when all of the other big companies flaked on me or didn't have openings for weeks. My unit wasn't pumping out cool air and it was 90 degrees in my house during the heat wave. His prices and services were very reasonable. He gave me a free estimate by checking my vents and my unit. Luckily I just ran out of refrigerant and he was able to refill it when he found out I had very low levels. He noticed the builders who installed the unit was lazy and didn't waterproof the wiring correctly so he found a pool of water collecting in the sleeve holding the wires.
