"David was earlier than the scheduled time. He was very meticulous and thorough with his service of our system. After being advised from another company that our AC needed a full replacement because of a faulty compressor. We decided to get a second opinion. After all the compressor was not faulty. The outside unit was filthy and the system was low on refrigerant. After the total cleaning of the outside unit and addition of some refrigerant the system runs like it had never missed a beat. Now I understand that it is just a matter of time for a 17 year old Trane system but there are still many hours on this system still. "We met Tim the owner at the Homeowner show at the Convention Center. Surprised at how personable he was. Cynthia, who handles customer service was very amiable and eager to help. Ryan, the service representative came out and gave us an estimate of a new HVAC system, since ours had died at the colder time this year.we accepted the bid and Ryan came out started the prep work. System was installed in one day. Ryan came out the next day to check everything. We concluded our business and we have wonderful heat. I cannot sing their praises enough. "I got quotes from 4 other companies. Worley's was the only one who looked for and found the water shut off valve behind a shelving unit in my garage.They were very detail oriented. The man who found the turn off valve asked about my water heater. Where was it. He decided that the updated code required a tank to be installed above the water heater. When they did the job of replacing the water line in my front yard, they also put box with a turn off valve in the ground in front of my home. They were very neat and cleaned up after the job was done. All of the men who came here to work were very polite, nice guys."

"For the last two years, I have signed a yearly contract with Sweetlands to do a twice-a-year check on my heating and air-conditioning service as well as On-Demand Gas Water Heater.....fall check before I use my heating system and spring check before I use my AC system. Each time, the service associate has been on time, courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable when answering any questions I may have. I've even had Judy show up to perform the bi-annual check once! As I mentioned previously, I had a bad experience with another company that led to me switching to Sweetlands. On the first check done with Sweetlands, the service representative found a flaw in the previous company's work that could have resulted in a dangerous event and was definitely costing me more money from an operational standpoint. So, the switch to Sweetlands literally paid for itself with my first visit! I definitely believe that Sweetlands is a great local business, and I intend to continue my association with them in the coming years. My annual maintenance contract covering twice yearly cleaning, maintenance and check of all three of my units (Heating, AC, and On-Demand Gas Water Heater) is $374/year."

"I have been planning to replace my HVAC system for a while. It was 19+ years old and I had spent close to $1000 over the past few years applying "bandaid" fixes to keep it operational. Smiley's HVAC had done work for both my brother and my Parents and they were both pleased. I had called Smiley's and 2 other HVAC companies to come give me replacement estimates about 18 months ago. They ranged in price from $6000 to $15000. I finally decided to bite the bullet and get the work done. While Smiley's was not the cheapest estimate, based on the reviews here and on Angies List, and my families experiences, I decided to go with Smiley's. I called on Tuesday 12/18/2018 and was Helped by a very cordial young lady on the phone. She told me Larry wasn't in the office but he would call me back as soon as he picked up his messages. Twenty minutes later Larry called and we set up an appointment for him to come back and give me a new estimate on a replacement system on Wed 12/19. This estimate was very slightly higher than the one from 18 months prior but I expected that. Larry showed up promptly and did a thorough evaluation of my existing system. He was extremely knowledgable and helpful in his explanations. Part of my HVAC system is in my attic and I asked about moving it down into the garage. Larry said that could be done but probably wasn't a good idea. I expressed concern over condensation leaks I've had in the past and he understood. He was very thourough and patient in explaining the mitigations he would put in place to prevent any future leaks and also explained why moving the components into the garage on a house sitting on a slab foundation would make any potential condensation drainage musch more difficult. It all made perfect sense. Larry got back to me with an estimate that afternoon and gave me a followup call to see if I had any questions. I didn't and asked when we could get started with the work. As this is the week before Christmas, I was expecting sometime next week. I was pleasantly surprised when he said they could do it the next day! He called to make sure all of the necessary materials were in stock and called me back to confirm and 8:30 AM arrival time for his crew. The Crew (TJ, Jeremy, Nick and Dave) showed up promptly and got to work as soon as I cleared them a path through my garage to the Attic access ladder. They worked through the day and by 4:30 PM I had a new HVAC system to include a new additional return air vent. I am extremely pleased with my entire Experience with Smiley's.
