"Joseph Willis and Lamonte Rhodes were the technicians who worked to stabilize my Carolina room slab. They first walked me through the job to make sure they were meeting my needs. They kept me informed during their progress and they did a pretty good job of clean up during the process. At the end of the job they walked me through what had been completed and asked if it met my expectations. I couldn't be happier with their service. Thanks"

"We are extremely pleased with our experience with Affordable Concrete. Douglas showed up on time to give us a quote which was reasonable. His rate was maybe $100 more than a competitor. However, given his punctuality and great reviews we chose to go with his company given all the great reviews. <br> <br>We did have to book him a month or so in advance as he was booked, which we took as a good sign. Douglas and his crew showed up on time and called the day before to confirm the time he was going to start work on extending our driveway.  <br> <br>I highly recommend using Affordable Concrete and will hire them again in the future for any concrete jobs. This company is very professional, reliable, and does quality work. A+++ <br> <br>"

"My daughter and son-in-law called Mark and received a response right away. An estimate and any modifications were always provided within a couple of days. Charleston Remodeling was responsive throughout the entire process. While removing old floors Mark and his team found a separate issue with the foundation. Mark promptly notified them of the issue. The issue was the responsibility of the homeowner's association. Mark used his business connections with the homeowner's association's contractor to expedite the process of getting the foundation fixed. This saved time (possibly weeks) and money. Mark and his team are forthright and flexible. They provided a great product and effort. The floors and ceiling are better looking now than before. Mark and his team are reasonable people. <br />"

"Excellent ? They raised the sinking concrete, reinforced the rest and filled in all the cracks. My pool deck looks great again and we have no worries of kids tripping on the old uneven cracks."

"Excellent installment of cedar backyard fence. There was some delay in getting fencing wood because of shipping delay(Home Depot) from west coast but this was no fault of the builders.Once the wood arrived they constructed the fence in one day. and cleaned up old fence and debris .The posts were installed a week before. They were friendly and courteous .The fence is beautiful!"

"The end result made it all worth it! The process from start to finish didn't go without its fairshare of bumps, however, Anthony Sylvan and more specifically the project manager, Ray K., did what they could to rectify in a timely manner. Overall, we are pleased with the results and would engage AS again if the opportunity presented itself."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Charleston, SC

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
