"We hired this company to level an almost 60-year-old concrete patio slab. The company was very responsive and did an excellent job leveling the large patio. When they asked what we were going to do as far as a decorative layer on top, we were all ears for suggestions. We wanted to do something interesting but hadn't really thought it through. Mike helped us envision a thin-layer decorative over-coating and gave us a very reasonable cost estimate. We picked a date to start the project, but weather considerations quickly got in the way, as it was late Fall. It became a little bit challenging to work with the company to finally schedule the work the following spring, but when a date was set, and the weather cooperated, the crew eventually came out and did a fantastic job with the decorative coating. They were very flexible regarding our vision for the project, and worked with us at each step of the project to make sure we were involved in all of the artistic decisions, and as a result, the patio looks even better than we could have imagined. We spend every possible moment enjoying our new patio now. We felt very comfortable working with Stabil at every step of the process. We look forward to working with them again in the near future on a second patio space that we would like to refinish, and would recommend them to anyone looking to level their concrete, and/or update the look of their hard-scapes. We definitely plan to hire them again."

"My sidewalk had one section that settled, and created a tripping hazard. Rather than destroy the pad, and pour a new section of concrete. I hired Stabil Solutions to use polyurethane foam technology to raise the pad. It was a perfect job, nice even walk way. The foam works fast, and fills any voids that may be under the pad. If you have a driveway section, or walk way that is not level, this is a great way to save money and time without creating a huge construction project...no messy bags of concrete. My wife was feeling better, but still in the hospital, and I called her on the phone, while your crew waited for me, as she and I discussed for several minutes the exact placement of the windows. Some minor changes had to be made and your crew could have easily just slapped the two windows in the new location, which was only slightly off of the original plan, and be done with it, but they stopped and pointed out where my wife originally wanted them and the new location difference and wanted to be sure that my wife understood the change, and wanted me to talk to my wife first. I was so very impressed that they made the adjustments on the spot that my wife suggested over the phone. I don’t think any other company would have gone through this much trouble to please their customers! <br /> You also were very respectful of our property, neighbors, and your crew were always very willing to stop and explain the process of what was going to happen next. Not one time did we ever feel like we were in your way. Actually, it was the opposite, we felt like you and your crew were very excited to show us your equipment and how it worked and actually wanted us around so we could see how it all worked and so we could see for ourselves how everything was perfect - and it was! <br /> We will always remember you and think of you so highly. There are so many things that can go wrong when redoing a home, and having it go off with such a perfect start gives us such great hope. "This job is why I joined Angie's List. I wanted to have wood floors installed over concrete foundation, and knew that could be tricky. I had already gotten an estimate from a "big box" store, and when I talked to the estimator/installer, he told me some things that I knew were not right. Example: Since I was having the entire downstairs re-floored, I did not want any joints/seams/thresholds showing from room to room. He told me that with engineered hardwood I would have to have a threshold at the wide opening between my living room and dining room. That told me that he was either not qualified for the job or that he was not telling me the truth. Neither of those were acceptable, so I joined Angie's List, and among the companies available, I chose Pinnacle because their ratings were so high and they were nearby. I like doing business with my neighbors if possible. <br /> With the "big box" store's estimate in hand as a reference, I called Pinnacle. They came by within a day or two to estimate the job. I had their estimate the next day, visited their showroom to choose a product, and scheduled the work. A big snowfall delayed the work by a day, but they called promptly to let me know. The work started about two weeks from getting the estimate. <br /> One of my concerns when having any type of work done is leaving people I don't know alone at my house. The owner assured me that his installers were long-time employees and that their turn-overs were low. They treat employees well, and pay them well enough that they don't have a revolving-door of minimally skilled installers. My conversations with the installers bore this out. <br /> The job was finished on time with no snags whatsoever. The floor is just beautiful! The cost was higher than the big-box store, but having a well-executed, quality job done with no headache was worth the extra money. <br /> Bottom line: no regrets after seven months living with my beautiful new floor. <br />"
