"I contacted Valor Mold for an estimate to do mold remediation and encapsulation of my crawl space, based on the positive reviews I'd found on Angie's List and on the excellent recommendation I'd received from the independent mold inspector I'd hired. They responded promptly to schedule an in-person estimate. Their estimator Teddy was on time, very nice, and answered all of my questions. He was thorough in measuring and examining the crawl space, and provided a detailed written estimate the following working day for the remediation and a rough estimate for the encapsulation. I indicated interest in pursuing both remediation and encapsulation including installation of a dehumidifier, so, their lead technician came to inspect the crawl space to determine what size dehumidifier was necessary, so as to flesh out a final encapsulation estimate. The technician was also prompt and patiently answered all of my questions. I have hired them to do the remediation and encapsulation. They have stayed in touch about what to expect and in scheduling. (I will update or post a new review once completed.) I've been impressed by their knowledge and professionalism. (Note: approximate cost of service includes $0 for estimate, about $14,500 for remediation, and about $15,500 for encapsulation. Weather had been extremely wet for several days and Will offered to come on Sunday when the weather was dry. They arrived on time, worked until they completed the job, cleaned up the yard, and hauled the debris away. We are ecstatic with the results! Will and his crew opened up the yard and improved our view of the lake while maintaining the structural integrity and aesthetics of our trees.
