Of course being the good friend that I am, I just had to rush over to her digs and check out this new modern technological miracle that lets her sleep like a baby every night! She now has protection for her wireless, wired and home phone needs, as well as and probably most importantly, protection from buglars, fire, carbon monoxide and even medical risks. We particularly tripped on the remote security access and text and email notifications she now receives. I really enjoyed the remote lighting and thermostat features too. "ADT came by today (they send a text when installer is on their way – very helpful) to implement our new security system. They were in and out within 60 minutes. We went with their deluxe promotion that also included fire sensors and carbon monoxide detectors. Wanted to go with a company that provided protection from both intruders and from fire/carbon danger."

"Frontpoint great in selling me my new security monitoring system and they gave me a great discount. I needed to install this system myself and they were also very helpful in helping me when I was making mistakes during installation (guess what? it seems that the numbering of the sensors does matter!). But it is the billing where they are falling short. First of all, you need to keep a credit card on file with them - let's hope that they do a good job at protecting my information. Second, when I added my bank account info so that they could just debit my checking account for my monthly service charge ($44.99), they completely botched that up. They called me to tell me that my credit union denied the payment but when I called my credit union, they told me that no attempt to debit my account had been made. Ultimately Frontpoint charged my credit card for the April payment (which is actually unacceptable to me). My credit union advised that I was better off using their web bill pay system but it seems that I am unable to do that. My only choice with Frontpoint is to give them my credit card and bank account info so that they can charge my account each month - there is no way for me to send the money myself. Last thing - I was not actually able to talk to someone from Billing - only was able to talk to a "customer service rep" who could not explain what really happened. Let's hope that the May payment goes better..."

"Installation was done quickly and we were made aware of all our options ( smartphone controls, etc. ) Have only had a few minor issues with system over several years, and the staff has responded quickly to resolve any problems. We are also pleased with the Monitronics ( recently renamed Moni ) monitoring system. Staff is very responsive to any alarms, accidental or not. We have only had one false alarm visit from the police department and that incident was totally our error. Also have smoke alarm built into system which will notify Moni to contact fire department if alarm is triggered. An added benefit to us."

"Jeremy was punctual and professional. The appointment was easy to make with fast scheduling. I received an in-depth presentation and walk through of my home. He was very responsive to my questions and family's needs. There was no pressure to buy or add equipment I did not want or need. My new system was installed two days later. Larry the technical adviser was amazing. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He installed my system with no problems. He took the time to give us a lesson on how to use the app and new system. A few days later I had a question and he responded right away. I loved the system so much, that I referred my mother. Her system was installed a week later. "The control panel needed a new battery pack installer did not have. 3eMissed one indoor window needing a sensor, and garage door open sensor is needed. Appt. times are not accurate so allow for extra time ! Low battery alarm beeped once every minute overnight so I lowered volume. Garage door sensor is on backorder. This install may get completed when? Unknown.
I could also use 2 more sensors.
Our insurance company said that since we have no smoke or fire alarm protection they cannot give us a bigger discount on our homeowners policy.

"In my Angie's List search I found that AB Locksmith had a store not far from our home.  Because I wasn't sure what we needed, I took a picture of our door and took it to their location.  The store was light, clean and welcoming and the salesperson was friendly, professional and knowledgable.  We agreed on the locks to secure our doors and their workman arrived the next day at the time we arranged.  The workman ended up installing 4 locks with the number of keys we needed and the work was completed in about an hour.  I couldn't be more pleased.  The ability to talk face-to-face with a locksmith expert in their store significantly influenced this evaluation.

"It is superb. The price includes four doors and the window alarms, not all of them but a majority of my windows are alarmed. I also have got the fire alarm and the cell phone backup. I would highly recommend them. I think the price is great and I can't complain. I signed up with a deal that we had, but for what I am getting, I can't complain. It is more than adequate."
