"Frontpoint great in selling me my new security monitoring system and they gave me a great discount. I needed to install this system myself and they were also very helpful in helping me when I was making mistakes during installation (guess what? it seems that the numbering of the sensors does matter!). But it is the billing where they are falling short. First of all, you need to keep a credit card on file with them - let's hope that they do a good job at protecting my information. Second, when I added my bank account info so that they could just debit my checking account for my monthly service charge ($44.99), they completely botched that up. They called me to tell me that my credit union denied the payment but when I called my credit union, they told me that no attempt to debit my account had been made. Ultimately Frontpoint charged my credit card for the April payment (which is actually unacceptable to me). My credit union advised that I was better off using their web bill pay system but it seems that I am unable to do that. My only choice with Frontpoint is to give them my credit card and bank account info so that they can charge my account each month - there is no way for me to send the money myself. Last thing - I was not actually able to talk to someone from Billing - only was able to talk to a "customer service rep" who could not explain what really happened. Let's hope that the May payment goes better..."

"The technician arrived for the appointment and confirmed that the backflow was preventing the system from pressurizing. He said he had to submit his findings and the company would be in touch. A month goes by and I call the HVAC company for resolution to the matter. They inform me that if the boiler/radiators are heating (which they are), they aren't authorized by AHS to repair the backflow preventer. We have to be entirely without heat in order for them to do anything. Fine...but what's not fine is that both AHS and the HVAC company could have told me this (based on what I told them) BEFORE the $75 service call for the technician to tell me exactly what I already knew from my regular technician. Nothing resolved, money literally wasted."
