"We were originally contacted by a door to door roofing salesman (not associated with R&A Roofing), but his sales pitch sounded exactly like the roofing scams described on several on-line websites.  So we passed on the first contractor/potential scam artist.  Randy and Aimee were recommended by a friend, so we had them provide a quote.  They were reasonably priced and less expensive than the first contractor/potential scam artist.  Prior to signing any contract, they were more than willing to allow us to see their insurance, bond and business license information.
We paid a material down payment and work was set to start several days later, however weather delayed the start a couple of additional days.  Randy estimated approximately three days to complete the job and In an attempt to get the roof completed prior to the next round of rain (August was a very wet period on the Gulf Coast), Randy and his crew worked 12 hour days.  Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate and the finish of the job had to be postponed for a couple of days.  After the monsoon subsided, Randy and his crew quickly finished the remaining portion of the roof.  
The only unfortunate issue was on the second day of rain (prior to the roof being finished) we developed a small leak that leaked down one of the walls inside the house.  We noticed the leak at 6:00 am on a Sunday morning and Randy and his son were at our house by 7:00 am to resolve the issue.  As it turned out we had received several inches of rain and some heavy wind which allowed rain to blow several feet under a tarp on the roof.  Randy and his son added an additional tarp, then went into the attic to make sure they had stopped the leak.  Thanks to their quick response, the only damage was some peeled paint on the wall, which they compensated us for.
Each day they cleaned up after themselves and made sure walk and drive areas were swept and free of debris.  Their entire crew was courteous and professional.  One of the bigger advantages to R&A, was they have their own crew  and don't sub out the actual roofing to other contractors.  They inspected all the decking and replaced any rotted areas, rather than just roofing over them.  I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

"On 1st unit, techs added a lot of freon and cleared the blocked drain line from the blower. The continuous running on the the second unit has been a recurring problem that had been treated prior as thermostat problem. The problem has always returned after thermostat replacement. The AAA tech is the first to examine the blower thoroughly and discover a bad module as the problem. Hopefully, this will be a lasting fix."
