"We had roots growing through the pipes stopping up our plumbing. It took my warranty co. 3 weeks and 3 different plumbers to conclude they don't handle root issues. This company came out cleared the roots and also repaired the other slow flushing toilet. He was very thorough in his investigation; We will have them back out with a camera to further review the main "root" of the problem. Very thankful for the prompt and professional assistance."

"John was super helpful and professional. Saved me tons of $ and knows his stuff! I'm fairly good with basic plumbing but I could not get me sink to stop leaking. John fixed it right away without breaking my wallet. John Gleason Plumbing will be the first ones I call for any plumbing issues. I highly recommend."

"They have been servicing two of our family car for years, and we have always found them to be very friendly, courteous and responsive. They are very willingly to let you look under the hood or under the car to see what repair work they are recommending and explain why. And if you request i, they will show you the parts removed and the replacement parts installed. Also, you can visually observe the work being done and they will review in detail what repairs they recommend as immediate and other repairs that can be postponed to a future time. I find them courteous, responsive and trustworthy, key service qualities."

"The company was recommended by a flooring company that I trust. I called them one morning and, after I had initially scheduled their first available appointment for a day or two later, the plumber (Scott) was able to come by later the same day. The plumber evaluated the work, discussed cost-performance tradeoffs for the leaking valves and sink drain accessories, purchased the parts, and installed them and connected the sink and faucet. The work was completed in about 2 hours (including the time taken to buy parts). The system so far has been problem-free. The plumber worked very efficiently and was always helpful and courteous. He also was happy to take a few minutes (at no charge) to explain to me how to take care of some minor plumbing connection and repair issues on my own, as well as to give rough estimates for some larger plumbing work I was considering. <br /> The charge was on a time-and-materials basis, at $85/hr for labor. I don’t know if this is a typical labor rate, so I didn’t provide a rating for price. <br />"

"There was a bad water leak and time was a factor. He was able to do it the next day after the quote. He charged 800 dollars for what turned out to be 2.5 hours of work. In order to save him time and effort, actually, he used plastic piping instead of copper and then argued his way out of it after he was told that we wanted copper piping and expected quality materials to be used in the job since it cost so much. Overall, it was a complete rip off. <br />"

"This company is awesome. We called them Friday Late morning and he gave me a price right on the phone. The price was very reasonable. I asked if he could possibly accommodate us for that day since the homeowner is elderly and it would be a hardship for the toilet to be out of commission. He moved his entire schedule around and drove all the way to Terra Bella to make sure the job was done that day. He did not even add an emergency service fee or a fuel fee. He was so good we had him install our new toilet for a nominal additional charge and we could not be happier. They were very professional, courteous, and pleasant, not to mention quick. I would recommend them to my family, friends, and anyone else who needs a plumber. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Cobb, CA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
