"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"Joel told us he would arrive at 830am the next day to replace our failed sewage pump. On 12/10/25, in the midst of an 8 inch snow storm, Joel arrived on time! He gladly replaced our pump and brought the plumbing unit for the pump up to code for a very fair price. We are very glad we hired him and gladly paid him! Perhaps the only bad part of this review Joel won't like, is the advertisement that he works on sewage pumps, it's a smelly job! LOL! Thank you Joel and thank you Kilburn's Plumbing! "Len Lombardo was proactive in contacting me both via email and phone in order to schedule the installation.
The solar fan was installed and began working immediately. The impact of this new addition was clear within an hour of its installation. It's made the second floor of our home much more comfortable during this recent heat spell.
In addition to supervising the installation of the fan, Len reviewed the exterior of my home and provided me with an estimate for some additional work that needs to be done. I will likely obtain additional estimates. Regardless of whether or not I hire Len for the job, I appreciated his persistence and knowledge.
Everything went smoothly except that the original installation date had to be changed when Len discovered that his supplier was out of the fans.  I was troubled by the fact that he hadn't ensured that he would have the materials in hand in order to do the job that he had scheduled. However, he was appropriately apologetic about that matter and quick to reschedule as soon as possible."
