"I had a break in my main water service line (from the meter to the house). They attempted to perform the lowest-cost repair first (snaking a new line through the existing pipe); when that failed, they dug out a new line and installed PEX from the meter. The folks I worked with were professional and very good about keeping me in the loop about their work status. At all steps of the way, I felt like they were doing their best to do things the right way rather than the quickest; they took additional steps such as making sure the PEX mating to the house occurred inside (i.e., where it was accessible) and installed a new ball valve, which would save us considerably in the future if we had a failure again. Working with them, I had confidence that they were doing their best to do this repair in the least expensive way possible; it was only when circumstances proved prohibitive that they moved to the more expensive option (running the new line). They also made sure to set us up with a temporary repair when it was clear that there was going to be a delay getting the boring equipment to dig the new line; I really appreciated that they took the time to make sure we were taken care of."

This was a big deal purchase. It was okay. I am still having issues with one of the things they repaired. The first thing was that he did not have the parts needed and he had to leave. He took a couple of hours coming back so he did not complete the job on the same day and had to reschedule to complete. To this day the kitchen faucet is still leaking. This will be the third time I have had to call them to fix it. I need them to fix what I paid for them to do. I am not going to pay somebody else to fix what they should have fixed. They are charging me to come back out. He was on time.

Due to the poor quality of our public utility water we decided to explore the possibility of installing a water filtration system in our house.  We had previously owned carbon based filters which removes chlorine only and will improve the taste some.  Because of reputation and recommendation from friends we decided to call Aqua Clear Water Systems, the local Kinetico distributor. The salesperson J.B. Brewster came to our home and performed numerous test on our water.  We were shocked to see all of the "STUFF" that we were ingesting from our tap water through cooking, tea and coffee making.  We were also buying bottled water for drinking .  We purchased the system and were very pleased with the professional installation crew and sales follow thru. 

You can only understand the difference in our water  by experiencing this system for yourself.  It is like comparing a horse and buggy to the automobile. The shower feels like silk, no more bottled water, cleaner dishes and clothes and our little dog loves it! I know that this testimonial sounds like we are related to the owners of this company. :), but we are not. "I can't help but wonder if the overpriced service wound have been cheaper else where.The provider came and gave an estimate for the services. Basically, they are a middleman between the provider of the actual service and the consumer. Highland was very prompt and everyone came to my house at the stated time. The service provided was decent and quick; however, a few days later my husband noticed some issues. The hinges on the closet door were installed backwards; still work but awkward. The door is slightly too big to close easily. The service provider was very nice, on time, worked quickly, and cleaned up after himself.

"The service call was placed on 12/10; vendor callled same day but was unable to respond until 12/14. He was prompt and declared the faucet was unreparable.. I asked if he could not try to repair but he said he cold not do that because if it din'fix the problem he could not replace the faucet. He stated that the replacement would not be exact but similar. My faucet had separaate lever for turn on/off but he said the replacement would probably be part of the sprout. We did not really appreciate this but he offered no probable favorable solution.. Not happy with response time but realize a close to weekend call caused this. Did not appreciate not even attempting repair."
