"1st time using angi. Hit an outside gas line digging. Bruce came out to estimate within a couple hours. Was back in 2days on a Sunday. Had line repaired and tested within an hour. Was only here longer because of a gas company meter reading incorrectly. Didn’t charge me anymore for his extra time. So very happy with his work, professionalism, and quickness. Made a life long customer. Will definitely recommend to anyone!"

"I donâ  t know where to begin to say how satisfied I am with A & J Contracting! I needed my basement renovated ASAP and Mr. Anthony met with me in a timely manner explaining in great detail the work he would perform and how pleased I would be! Let me tell you he did NOT disappoint because he and his partner Mark performed what I call a â  miracleâ  in renovating my basement and went above and beyond my expectations!!!! Iâ  ve shown many the before and after pictures of what I now can call my family room and the response each time was how â  beautifulâ  of a job Anthony did!! If you are in need a great contractor donâ  t look anywhere else but A & J Contractor and call Anthony NOW! My family still canâ  t believe what A & J Contractor did with that old and in bad shape basement!! Very professional and the many years of experience really was on display!! Thank you again Anthony and Mark for restoring our basement!! Iâ  ll definitely be utilizing them in the future and wonâ  t have to look elsewhere!!"

"Ordered a new water heater through them. They were very nice at first, then when they came to install the new water heater they told me they "had to come back to get my old water tank" because their truck was full. I didn't think anything of it... they stopped answering me entirely and cancelled 3 appointments to come get it. It's now been almost 6 weeks. They do not care about their customers and don't keep their word. DO NOT hire these guys. Now I have to dispose of this myself."

"It is on the verge of 2026 and I am still finding examples of the terrible work we received from PRC back in 2019! I have constant reminders of the regret that I have from hiring this company. The latest is an exposed outlet that we were never told about and that I recently discovered because I had to remove a cabinet drawer. Please see the the attached photo and I recommend reading my entire review. Proceed with caution, if you decide to use PRC. I will never understand why they could not provide us the same level of quality that others mentioned in their reviews. Poor work is one thing, but this is a safety issue, and I am grateful that we have not had a fire. I will be consulting with an attorney to determine if any action is possible. I wasn't planning on writing a review about our experience with PRC, but after finding more examples of poor workmanship on a project that was supposed be completed 10 months ago, I've changed my mind. FAQs for gas piping projects in Cranberry Township, PA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
