"We returned from vacation on a Saturday night to find out that our A/C system had died on us while we were gone. I put in a quote request with JDL and someone contacted me within about 30 seconds of my request. A tech was able to come out on Sunday to assess the situation. Ire was extremely courteous and professional, explaining everything along the way. One minor problem was that we needed a new motor (which died while Ire was here) and they had to order the part, which he said they would do first thing Monday morning. While they did, it was going to be another day before it arrived. I asked if there was something that could done, but unfortunately they needed to wait for the part to arrive. A bit later, Ire called me back to say that they were going to drive way out of the way to pick up the part and get someone to our house later that day, avoiding both a large overnight shipping fee and another brutally hot night in our house. Isak showed up and was courteous and professional as well. He explained the work and explained that our system was working, however inefficiently. He explained how we could fix the issue, and laid out the costs for us. We had to decline as it was out of our budget, which Isak completely understood. I'm not sure about other reviews, but at no time did I feel pressured into buying a product or doing something unneeded. I really appreciate the work they did, their customer service approach, and their overall knowledge and professionalism. We are likely to hire them back based on this service."

"Our heat went out and we reached out to Beltway. They were able to get out to us in a timely manner and diagnose the problem. The system was 25 years old and was going to cost 700 dollars to make a repair that had already been repaired once before we bought our home. After discussing our options with Ryan we decided to replace our furnace and AC unit instead of risking future issues and pouring more money in to an old system. He gave us a very reasonable price on a two stage system that is much more energy efficient than our existing unit and did not even charge us for the repair of our current system since we decided to buy a new unit. They have a 5 year labor warranty on their work which is far better than most companies that only offer a one or two year warranty. The install team was very courteous and polite, always wearing shoe covers and taking down decorations or moving stuff to avoid damage while coming in and out. At the end they walked us through the new unit and told us what to watch out for. We would definitely recommend Beltway to anyone and will come to them in the future with all our HVAC needs."

HPC Services responded promptly, diagnosed the problems and expertly repaired the issues while explaining exactly what happened and how to maintain the system moving forward. "I called Buric (on advice of friend/neighbor) when A/C wasn't working and I asked what to expect in their charges. The guy on the phone told me they charge a flat $95 (or $99?) for driving out here. So I asked if they charge by the hour or half hour. No, he said, by the job. He couldn't give me an estimate because he didn't know what was wrong. So, a technician came out and diagnosed my unit (which blew air but didn't get cold) as old & dead and needing replacement. So, in my mind, there was really there was no job outside of replacement. In their mind, they did a job by taking 10 minutes to look at the unit and tell me there was nothing to be done for it. So, instead of charging me $99 for coming out, they charged me $230 for coming out AND telling me the unit couldn't be fixed. That irritated me. Then I asked for a bid for new system. The guy went out and talked on the phone to his boss and come back with a written bid. I later compared it with my second bid from another co. Buric's bid was higher than the company I selected, but not enough to sway me if I had liked their way of doing business. However, the previous (over)charge, which was not explained by the guy I spoke to when I first called, left such a bad taste in my mouth I couldn't go with them. So that extra $130 they made cost them around $5000. I hope it was worth it to them. BTW, if I had gone with them, they would have subtracted the $230 from the bid, but I just couldn't get past it. So, I am not saying anything about the quality of their work--it may be just fine, but I don't like the way they did business."
