"I'm a big believer in shopping local and using local contractors whenever possible. So I was thrilled to find a guy with an A rating and 125 mostly excellent reviews who lived five minutes away! I'm so happy with the job John did cleaning, re-grouting, and sealing our shower floor--it looks brand new! He also replaced a well-worn drain cover at the completion of the project. He was hard to pin down to start the job--but usually that's what happens when people are good at what they do and their services are in demand! The price was fair, and the work was completed in less than a day! I'd use him again for tile work and recommend his services to others."

Agreed on price--he cleaned in house rugs, spent 2 hours cleaning tile floor (needed going over 3 times); took orientals and throw rugs, returned 8 days later...they looked great!  Moved furniture, helped put them back in place.
I was VERY impressed.  Found him to be friendly, proactive, forthcoming, reliable, very reasonably priced.  I was really surprised how how he worked getting the tiled kitchen floor properly cleaned.  He went over it, let it dry; not good enough!  Over it again...and again! No extra cost...he said he had to "get it right"!
Only minor down sides--a) orientals had to be done elsewhere, waited 8 days to get them back; b) cotton Indian throw-rug came back with edges a touch frayed, and not looking brand new (although a lot better than when he took it), and he explained and apologized for not being able to do a better job with it,
For this kind of work, I'd certainly recommend him very highly, and would go to him first.

He has a meticulous eye for detail, fantastic customer service, and the quality of his work is second to none. Kevin and his crew turned our nightmare bathroom into the nicest room in our house. From our initial consultation to our handshake goodbye, Kevin was as professional as it gets. At the end of every day Kevin and his crew cleaned up so well you would never know we were under construction. What struck us the most was Kevin's knowledge and skill, and the pride all the guys at Love Tile took in their work. We originally hired another company to renovate our bathroom. After 8 grueling weeks of unbridled incompetence, we had what amounted to a junior high shop project. Our original contractors left with the job half done and the bathroom was a total mess. We needed help and needed it bad, so we found Love Tile on Angie’s List and Kevin came out the next day. He clearly knew what he was talking about and his professionalism immediately put us at ease. The estimate he gave us was quite reasonable, too. Kevin brought in a crew to remove the old tile from the floor and walls, reframe the shower stall, and rebuild the walls. He brought in a plumber to help sort out the mess the last crew made as well. Once the old mess was removed Kevin worked his magic tiling the shower stall with ceramic tile and a glass mosaic border and marble shelves, as well as the bathroom floor. We are so thrilled with the outcome and love our beautiful new bathroom!

"My wife and I enjoyed working with the Tile Surgeons.  They are a very professional group and their work is top notch.  We worked
specifically with Ralph who came to our house to repair grout and small tile pieces in our master bathroom shower. Ralph was extremely professional and flexible.  We had to reschedule due to illness and it was not a problem for him, which we were very grateful for.  He was able to explain what he was doing in laymen?s terms, which I always respect, and answered all of our questions that we had.  We highly recommend using the Tile Surgeons and will be using them for future tile work.

"Work started on time with a crew, but as time went on we had only one worker named Polo who did an excellent job, especially cutting around our existing crown molding. We did ask Polo if he minded working by himself and he said no! Our kitchen took longer because the pull out drawers arrived mismeasured but they were worth the wait. Love the ulility drawer ( knives & forks) designed by Jeff! We had a few minor problems the first year, but they were handed immediately. One of the key reasons we contracted with Kitchen Tune-up was their promise that they had contractors to help us navigate with counter, tile, flooring, etc. even though we live in Philadelphia . All were excellent! Kitchen was done in March 2019"
