"Had about 40 wood blinds that had never been cleaned (blinds 15 years old).Got two estimates and went with The Blind Ladies. They came out as scheduled and took down all of the blinds and carried to their shop and promised to have them returned the evening of the same day. Because they are wood blinds they had to be hand cleaned. 

They returned the blinds the same day and re-installed them -- although it was quite late due to the number of blinds. We are very please with the results, especially considering they had never been cleaned and had dust build-up.

Ron Whilden came out with samples the day after I called their office looking for information. (Now that's customer response!) Since it is a family owned business that has been in business a long time, they were very knowledgable about the products, installation, etc. It was as simple as taking their suggestions, saying yes to the quote, and then waiting 2 weeks for the custom shades to arrive and be installed. I can't describe how pleased we are with the end result. They were a pleasure to work with and kept me informed every step of the way by email. "Well, I had the sudden bright idea of trying to completely renovate my daughter's room for her birthday with less than two weeks before she came home from being out of town. I found Jules on Angie's List, and everyone was so happy with her work, I gave her a call. From the very beginning to the end, she worked tirelessly with her team (Rick Hutchison and his associate Kevin) to bring the vision I had to life with no time to spare. I really can't believe they were able to do this. The dedication and QUALITY of the work that was done was incredible. Jules went to every corner of town and beyond to find and acquire each individual piece for the room. In addition, the room was a blend of many different ideas and styles, so Jules had to think outside the box and go in many different directions with only enthusiasm and a smile on her face. She was incredibly thorough in keeping track of receipts and invoices (much moreso than I!) , and was very careful to try and find each item within the budget we had. For example, we were willing to pay more for a special allergy free bed than a decorative desk, and Jules was able to balance the costs so we had exactly what we wanted.
When work became a bit more involved due to a structural issue with our windows, Rick and Jules worked into the weekend to insure the project was completed in time for the surprise. My daughter was completely speechless when she saw her room, and tells me almost every day how much she loves it. Her friends love the whole feel and atmosphere (Which is kind of woodsy and starry with brown branch twinkle lights woven through the room but grown up enough with the stylized furniture. Jules helped me bring my thoughts of a starry sky into the room with a warm purple ceiling painted with an overlay of subtle glitter. It's gorgeous.) I literally have only amazement for the job that was done.
