"I opened the door to the garage one day and there was light coming in the original 1959 wooden garage door and i realized it was bowing out and the header was slipping down. I talked to garage door companies and they were unwilling to touch it because it would require structural engineering to bring up to hurricane code. No handyman would touch it because it was too big of a job for them, and I talked to several general contractors who would either refer me to a structural engineer who couldn't seem to coordinate with anyone, or they weren't interested because it wasn't a big job. One contractor said he only did highrises. And then I talked to Lenny, and he wound up coordinating everything and everyone. The county inspections, the extra electrical work, the engineering, the concrete work and the rebar work, custom sizes, everything.
