"
I called this company for repairs to a gas water heater. This company is a contractor for the local natural gas company and is the only company in the immediate area who repairs gas water heaters. I contacted the office in the morning and the technician had the repairs completed by 2:15 that afternoon. Hope, the lady in the office who took my call, kept me informed as to the approximate time of the technicians arrival. Once she had a more exact time she called to inform me. Mark, the technician, arrived at virtually the exact time Hope quoted. Mark is very familiar with this type of repair and had the problem diagnosed and fixed within 30 minutes. Mark stayed for approximately 30 minutes more to make sure the heater was going to work properly. I was impressed with how quickly the repairs were made. Mark cleaned and checked the burner and pilot light area along with making the repairs. I would certainly use this company again should the need arise. Very friendly, professional and prompt.

"

"Our technician, David, arrived within a couple of hours of our call. He was very conscientious in searching for the leak. He spent around 1 1/2 hours searching, making sure he got the correct spot. He used several instruments and methods in his search. When he was sure he found the spot, he assured us that the leak was within a foot of the spot he marked. He said when the plumber came and if he couldn't find the leak within arm's reach, to call him back, and for no additional cost, he would return to try to better pinpoint the spot.
After the plumber came back to make the repair, he found the broken pipe not more than six inches from the mark. This resulted in minimal damage to the floor, allowing for an easy and inexpensive repair.
We're grateful that David cared to do his job so well.
"

"Mike was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly . He came on time and went right to work replacing the leaky pump housing and one leaky valve . It was fixed within an hour. Not only did he fix the pump issue he alerted me to a leak bubbling up from a pipe underground connected to my outside spigot. I was thankful that he pointed this out so that I could call my plumber and address the issue immediately. Had he not pointed out the problem my water bill would have been off the charts ! Thanks again Mike ."

"All went very well regarding the installation. Couldn't be more satisfied. GPM did a 12 month descale in 2012. However, later when I had a problem with the unit, I called GPM, advised the code on the unit, and they gave me information that it was a gas problem and to contact the gas company, which I did. That was not the problem however, so I called GPM again, they gave me "that's the code for gas". I then made the decision to contact the manufacturer. They gave me several names of contacts in my area. I contacted several and finally got a knowledgeable company who was manufacturer trained to install / service the unit. This company was not listed when I originally took a look at certified companies.
Before we started, the first emaiIs I received in answer to a few questions I had were as follows: "I cover entire state. Travel charge will apply..."; "...you sure you checked your area for a local installer?"; and lastly "Sorry, I don't know any plumbers down your way. I never turn down work." GPM accepted the install work. I did receive an email from GPM in November of 2012, after all of my "help" calls, that stated: "Please don't take this wrong but this is one of the reasons why I said in the beginning that you should use someone more local for this work. You are a distance from my normal service area and it is very hard for me to arrange times to get down to your area on a normal call versus emergency services."

Therefore, I highly recommend, including myself, to confirm maintenance service is available after install. I only recommend GPM for installation but not for maintenance. Find someone in your local area!

"

"
Our new home had an existing propane tank to heat the pool and spa. The tank was with another service provider and after reading about many bad experiences with that provider, we decided to go with Discount Propane. They were very professional from start to finish. When we called they asked us about the propane tank and explained that they were required to give the old propane company 2 days written notice of their intent to install a new tank on our property. We agreed to this and had an appointment set up immediately. Based on our research, the estimate they gave us to install and fill a new tank was very competitive.

When the tech came out to do the job he informed us that we actually owned the tank on our property, so we would not need to pay for a new tank to be installed. This cut the cost of the job by 2/3 what we were quoted. I'm sure a dishonest company could have just installed a new tank, hauled off the old tank, and charged us the full amount, especially since we were not expecting to own the tank on our property. Needless to say, we were very pleased and impressed by this service! I should also add that the tech was very prompt and arrived at the scheduled appointment time.
"
