"My wife contacted several painters in the local area for price quotes. She knew she wanted David and his team the moment she met him. He was professional, extremely knowledgable, and he gave us a military discount. My landlord was very particular about how she wanted the house painted and David took all of that into consideration. Leading up to the job, he notified me when he purchased the specific paint she wanted and the total cost. He also contacted me the day prior and the morning of. His team arrived on time. I don't think we anticpiated how long it was going to take for our two story home to get loaded into that truck but it took most of the day. When I kept noticing small things I didn't want to get dinged on by my landlord, I ran it by him, he looked at the area (stairwell, closet, and another bedroom that wasn't included in the original quote), and gave me a fair price to do the job right now. I was very impressed! I kept making his day longer and longer by requesting more work from him and his team and they kept working. I understand they are getting paid but was impressed with his professional ability to adapt and press until the work was accomplished. The walk through the following day went great and as I said, my landlord went from being a doubter (because I didn't go with her guy and maybe get money out of me) to now using him on her other properties! I would use David Murphy and his team again and I would reccommend them to anyone in the central Illinois area looking to have quality, affordable, painting done for their residence or business.

"I had them for 2 or 3 years. It's an insurance that you pay $30.00 or $40.00 a month. If you have any problems, you call, and they send somebody out to do the work. They charge you monthly. No matter what the problem is, the guy that comes out charges you $60.00. Weather he has to replace you refrigerator or water heater or what ever, he only charges $60.00. If it's your refrigerator, that is what they work on. If it's heating and air conditioning, that is what they work on. I don't know where they get their list of people to do their work, but the people agreed to only charge $60.00. I guess they pay them something, I don't know. Over all it's comforting to know that you have somebody  you can make one phone call to for several different things that might be wrong. It's kind of warming to know that you have that kind of service to back you up."

"We hired Brian to waterproof our basement last year but this year, we received a heavy rainstorm that created massive flooding around the area. Everything Brian waterproofed was bone dry but there was an exit door entry way that we never even considered waterproofing. The door held back most of the water but it managed to get in through the cracks of the door. 

I contacted multiple companies that night and the next morning, but Brian was the only one who responded back first thing in the morning. He agreed to meet us at our house to assess the problem, and we appreciated that he arrived quickly. After evaluating multiple options, Brian told us that we needed a sump pump and drain tile installed to permanently fix this problem. He initially scheduled us for the next Monday, but after understanding our urgency, he bumped us up to the next day. The workers arrived when he said they would, and the work was completed the same day in the afternoon. Thank you to Brian and his company for being so accommodating, being there when we needed him, and completing the work promptly.

After some heavy rains, we noticed that we were still getting some seepage in our "waterproofed" basement. After contacting Brian (for our lifetime warranty or whatever), he said he would come out. He then proceeded to cancel/make an excuse the next 3-4 appointments. Then he just stopped responding to emails/calls. We're very disappointed because we really liked Brian. Now we have to open the walls to see where the seepage is coming in and call someone else to seal them."
