"After an extensive process of having different contractors evaluate my home & submit their estimates for the installation of a Bosch tankless boiler/water heater combination unit as well as new baseboard heating, I selected AStar Heating & Cooling. Their staff impressed me from start to finish. Initially, I met Aaron who provided a thorough explanation of how the work would be done, offered other options that I did not know of or considered at the time, and provided a fair estimate that was similar to most of the other contractors. Next, when the time came for the projects to be completed, the technicians, Robert & Trevor, were on point. They always arrived in a timely manner & started working right away. They worked efficiently & quickly to get the projects done in the time frame promised. However, they did not rush, they took pride in their work & made every effort to make sure the work was completed neatly & done properly, as they thoroughly tested out the systems to make sure their were no issues/problems in their setup & performance. They also thoroughly answered my questions about the installation of the new systems as they went about their work. At the end of each workday, they made sure to clean up the job site & were very mindful in not dirtying my new floors by wearing plastic booties whenever they had to walk over them. The Bosch tankless water heater/boiler combination unit has been working without a hitch. I barely notice the difference in the time lag of receiving hot water in comparison to the old 40 gallon tank water heater I previously used. Overall, I highly recommend AStar Heating & Cooling. "Unfortunately I didn't have time to read reviews on the brand of hot water heater installed. It was a Bradford White. The reviews are horrible. I guess I just have to wait and see how long it lasts. There were also complaints on the water heater relating to the warranty."

"I was very impressed with the service that Sergiy provided. He was very prompt and showed up just like he said he would. He and his assistant Nick started work immediately and did a great job. They installed two windows and spackled my bathroom ceiling. One window also needed exterior trim. I liked the fact that Sergiy went and got cedar. He also explained that it would be much stronger. I'm very happy with the job. They also cleaned up all the areas that they worked in. Sergiy also checked a gutter that I was having a problem with, and he didn't charge me any extra for that. He also originally told me he was going to have to charge me extra for materials, but at the end he included that in the original quoted rate. He was very easy to talk to and friendly regarding any questions I had while the work was being done. Also one final detail that really made Sergiy stand out. He called me a few days after the job and asked me if I had any questions, and if everything was okay. I think that's something you don't see very often. I highly recommend Sergiy. I will definitely be using him again for my home repairs."

"Service guy came as scheduled. Sent his "service" requirements to home base Home base calls back and lists, a very long list of what needs to be done and a very long list of what is not covered and what each item costs. The overall cost was outrageous and they weren't willing to give it to me in writing. Everything I had to pay for was overpriced, of course! They told me my other option would be to purchase my own water heater and they would reimburse me for what there water heater would cost, but no reimbursement for Labor, building permit, or any upgrades required by the local building department. The requirements of the building department were minimal. I went to Home Depot and had them do the installation and saved many hundreds of dollars. Lesson learned, have AHS do simpler repairs that don't require municipal building department approval. Have AHS pay for the equipment, and purchase installation from a trusted local installer."

"Were very happy with the installation because immediately when the power goes out. The generator turns on and the problem is solved. It was the lowest bid we had so we took it and actually were very happy with the company's efforts. We bought the generator and had it installed for a great price. They offer a great yearly service plan too."
