He then reinstalled Windows complete with updates, backed up computer and restored.

"Mr. Hoover did a great job.  He was out of town when I initially e-mailed him, but he replied to my e-mail and let me know when he would be back in town.  He contacted me when he returned and set up an appointment for the next week to give an estimate.  He was punctual and professional.  We scheduled the repairs to be done the following Monday (patching) and Tuesday (texture and paint, after previous day's work had dried).  I like that he gives an hour window for his arrival time rather than expecting us to be home all day or even all morning.  He worked with my schedule since I pick up and drop off at two different schools.  Again he was very professional and did a fantastic job!  As a side note, he is also very patient and understanding.  I failed to tell my four year old not to touch in time.  Fortunately, Mr. Hoover had not left yet and was very kind about coming back in to retouch the spot.  When I had our son apologize, Mr. Hoover told him it was alright and he probably would have done the same thing at that age.  From a mom's perspective, that was priceless.

"Overall it went very smoothly. The garage door was problematic since my garage is so old that the standard door hit my rafter. He solved that issue by using another track and now it works great. They did an excellent job of cleaning up all the loose debris, loose nails and such like, afterwards. I'm very happy with my new front steps and the tuckpointing. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"We are very pleased - the bathroom looks great! Workers were always professional, helpful, courteous, friendly. Always sought our input. Did extras, like rerouting air duct so we could have our recessed medicine cabinets. Included plumbing, electrical, framing, relocated window (outdoor siding redone), widening outer wall for increased insulation for pipes. Fixed access hole in basement ceiling and installed water shut off valve to bathroom. Installed extra electrical outlet for wife's hair dryer and a backsplash. Even fixed a hole in wall of another bathroom and rehung towel bar as a courtesy. Highly recommend."
