"My wife and I couldnâ t be happier with the work HQ Builders provided on our housing project. Their work was of the highest quality, the pricing was reasonable and best of all they were efficient in all of their work. We would not hesitate to recommend HQ Builders or have them once again assist us in any projects we may have in the future. HQ Builders gave us a detailed estimate on the entire project but listed out each item individually so we could pick and choose our priorities depending on our budget. They checked with us frequently on the project costs to remove or add in additional work as the job was ongoing and never failed to clear something with us before altering it in any way. The entire team was a phone call away at any time and my wife and I never felt out of the loop as to what they were working on or when they would be finished. This was a complete overhaul of our house, windows replaced, new doors, new water heater, bathroom remodel, new flooring throughout, interior and exterior paint as well as a new roof among other things I am most assuredly forgetting and they were nothing but timely and communicative in their work. Top notch, donâ t hesitate to use them for any housing projects you need done or have been putting off!"

"The planning of the project and the enthusiasm propelled me to hire this company to widen the driveway and replace the grass lawn with crushed rock. The crew worked diligently, leaving a nice, professional job. Would recommend this company to my friends and neighbors for their landscape projects."

"Every person that we dealt with from start to finish went the extra mile. We are tremendously thrilled with our process from start to finish... our granite is gorgeous, the project looks like a million bucks! We could not be more satisfied. The price was so reasonable for such a professionally done project. We recommend RMS very highly!!"

"They came promptly. Gave me an honest estimate with warranty. They fix it in proper time. I contracted several professional roofers but failed to find the leak. They came and properly assessed the problem and fix it."

"Yay! This job went very well. Because Nu-Tec does wonderful work, they are very busy so finding a time that our project could be done was the only catch. But our patience was rewarded with a job well done. Great attention to detail. Cracks were filled, areas where the stucco on our house was weak or compromised were completely redone, with the stucco replaced and retexturized. Painters applied two coats of elastomeric paint. They sanded and repainted wrought iron balcony rails, replaced door frames, and in one case, replaced the entire door. The workers were very punctual, often at work by 8:00 am. They cleaned up every day and left our yard neat, with all equipment kept out of the way on the side of the house. Our home looks brand new! In addition, they repaired an area of ceiling where our AC had leaked and caused a stained and damage to the plaster. And they regrouted areas in our shower. And painted our shed to match the house. These projects were added to our contract after our initial contact with Nu-Tec and yet Ed and his crew were able to help us with these projects for a very reasonable fee."

"<p>Work went well.  After the workers left the job site, I found the repairs had not been painted.  I requested the contractor return and paint the area repaired which was done.  </p> <p> </p> <p>I called the contractor again, because I wanted additional repairs done to the garage.  After two calls an estimator finally came out, but we were never given an estimate.  I figured they weren't interested.</p> <br />"

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in El Paso, TX

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
