"Without a doubt they are the very best contractor of any type I have ever dealt with. It's almost like I was an aging family member. Quality of work was top shelf. Fast efficient and courteous. Pricing would be hard to beat. I'd rate Daeunhauer way more than 5 star."

"The job was to run a gas line for a stove while I was out of town. They had told me the job would be done on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Friday I get a call that the drawers to the stove are on the floor and the piping is just hanging there. So I call them...apparently they didn't have the right part and the installer was off for the next 2 days - so would be there on Sunday to finish the job - which by itself isn't terrible; however, they didn't tell me that they'd shutoff all the gas to the house - meaning no hot water and no heat in the house. When I asked them to send someone out immediately to finish the job they said that they couldn't do that...meaning that Sunday would be the earliest. They did call me back later to let me know they would get someone out on Saturday to finish the work. Then, they called me back on Saturday morning to let me know that only Chris could finish this job and so I'd have to wait until Sunday - meaning no heat or hot water when I get home."

"BUYER BEWARE!!!!! This company is all about getting their $99.00 for the estimate, selling you an annual service fee and then quoting exuberant prices. Not really sure if they really care about doing the actual plumbing work. Recently gave me an estimate for a job of $500. Learned later after from another plumber that what they wanted to do was actually not correct AND should have cost no more than $250. Had I used Fayette Heating / H20 Mastero, I would have paid $600 for a job done incorrectly. At least the 99.00 I paid kept me from damaging my house further. There are a lot of reputable plumbers in Lexington. Suggest you look elsewhere"

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Elizabethtown, KY

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
