"Learning that we had mold in our home because our air conditioning system failed - and that failure had not been discovered for a period of weeks â  was so distressing. Especially since we were in New England, and our house is in Venice, FL! Fortunately, we were given The Mold Guys as a reference for remediation; we also have a friend nearby who is a retired firefighter, and she offered to be our â  on site contactâ  . The combination of BOTH of those services proved to save our sanity and our property! Jim and his crew from The Mold Guys were prompt at diagnosing and remediating multiple issues. Pictures were sent; texts were exchanged; phone calls were made from the start to the conclusion of the remediation process. These exchanges made a very stressful situation less overwhelming; we felt as if we were aware of ALL decisions. We knew immediately what had to be discarded and what would be treated and bagged for us to review upon our return. While all this work was taking place, our contact person, the retired firefighter, visited the house numerous times a day. She noted that because of her career fighting fires, determining their origin, and dealing with their aftermath, she was absolutely impressed with the professionalism and work ethic of Jim and his team. She pointed out that all her questions were answered patiently, respectfully, and with complete knowledge.
