"Before Chris even had my business, he spent almost 2 hours on the phone with me talking about the different options that would work best for my well. After we decided on a solution, a few days later he called back to change the plan in order to save me money. By purchasing a specific combo, he was able to get a better deal from the supplier. Instead of pocketing that money, he passed it down to me so my final invoice was less. I received multiple bids for my pump and controller install and Blue Line was very competitive but I didn't choose them for the price. They have great service! As a note, I have not used the pump as I do not yet have power on site. I will need Blue Line to come back out to finalize the install. But I have full confidence I won't have any issues with my new 30gpm well pump."

"Very smoothly. First contact with Julie setting up appointment set the tone. Proactively asked for pictures to gave parts required. Vladimir called 24 hours later to check in with me as I was at work-with review his recommendations. Price was very reasonable in comparison to other plumbers. Having moved to this area recently I have been surprised with the general attitude of many potential contact service companies. The service provided by AWP was a significant contrast. There is a good chance we might build a home and I have no doubt that we will call Vladimir."

"I called The Plumbing Joint (TPJ) on a Thursday when I discovered a leak near our water meter. I had a team from the city coming out to inspect that day so she put an appointment for the next day on hold. She also indicated I would need an underground leak detection service and referred me to one. I called other companies to get a similar estimate and they said they couldn't have anyone out until Monday. One said a job like mine could cost as much as $1400!
The underground detector arrived Friday morning and found the leak well away from the water meter (the city had suspected this and told me to get a plumber.) I called TPJ soon after and Joe from TPJ arrived that afternoon and ordered an emergency service locate. Unfortunately he could not complete the work that day but called in for someone to come out on Saturday around noon and dig it up and repair. Joe was extremely nice and left his meter key behind so I could easily turn the water on/off at the meter to avoid further leaking and a higher water bill.
Tony from TPJ called early Saturday (around 8am) and asked if he could swing by early. I said, "Of course!" He arrived around 9am and in a little under 2.5 hours we had no leak and our parking strip was filled back in nicely. There was no extra charge for the Saturday work and I appreciated the expedience and care they gave my rather serious issue.

"It went great and it's good to see the fence standing again.  Kairos was responsible, hard-working, efficient, and picked up their work area.  I am very pleased with the work that was completed and it was done for a reasonable price.  I was glad I was able to hire Kairos - it was a fluke that thhey came out this far from their service area, but I'm very glad they did.  I felt that I received the service I paid for, which was labor for fence repair.  If there is a next time, I'll have some pickets available to catch the couple that we all missed seeing. It's a relief to have working gates again and a repaired fence!  Thanks!

"I had a crack in foundation and Permadry was tasked to fix it. The Estimator was great. He described the process and I felt comfortable that this was going to be fine.

The repair guy came out and started working, a short time later he said he was done. I went down to the basement to check out the work. There were chipped out holes in the foundation, the epoxy was dribbling on the floor, and the ports were left in the walls that were pointing every which way. I was told this was going to look as good as new, minus the wall paint. The guy told me he was done and said this is the way it will look. He said he did not have the paperwork so they would bill me later and left. I looked up what finished crack repair should look like and this was far from it. I called the company and the owner came out the following Monday and was not impresses with the work and had his employee come out to clean it up. He came out and took the ports out and patched the holes. The job, this time, was sloppy. He basically stuck filler into the holes and made no attempt to smooth it out or blend it. The owner called again and I explained the results. Now we have a third visit coming up with the owner coming to supervise. So the work isn't done, no bill, and I get a call from their accounting asking me why I haven't paid yet. The basic tone of this call was "why aren't you paying your bill dead beat?" Well, I haven't got a bill and the job still isn't done. So the third visit comes.. no the owner did not show like he said. The work was done and it's fine, but 3 visits to do this is not acceptable. Here's the thing, this should be a two visit job (fill the crack on day 1 and port removal and blending when everything cures) or better initial finish work (if the ports have to stay in, they should be perpendicular to the wall and everything should be blended up to them).

I am happy-ish with the customer service on the administrative side (estimator and owner have been good, but accounting, nope), but the work quality is another matter. My concern is there are uninformed people who trust that when the professional says the work is done then it's done. They will pay the bill and accept a subpar result or not know it is subpar.

Based on the work performed (time it took to do the work, needed equipment, size of the project), I felt the price is way too high.

"The job was a difficult one due to the age of the building...both electricians were thoughtful, friendly and very professional. We will use Ion Electrics for any future electrical needs and Kris the owner was great to work with. Job well done!!!"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

FAQs for well pump repair or service projects in Enumclaw, WA

A standard well inspection begins with a visual inspection of the pump, casing, storage tank, and wiring, followed by flow rate tests and laboratory-based water sampling. The goal is to confirm that every part meets safety standards and to identify any necessary repairs before they become expensive. An inspector will also test your water quality for substances such as volatile organic compounds and any local containment concerns.

Book a licensed, insured well specialist for your inspection. Many well‑pump contractors also hold inspection credentials. They’ll bring the right tools to assess the pump, wiring, and water quality, and provide you with a clear report on any necessary fixes. Before you hire, confirm their license, insurance, and recent customer reviews.

Plan on a full well inspection every year. You’ll also want one any time the cap comes off, after septic repairs, or if flooding occurs. Annual tests look for total and fecal coliform; every two years, the lab should screen for metals and nitrates, and every five years for VOCs and pesticides. If you’re buying a home with a private well, it’s essential to schedule a pre-purchase inspection.

With routine care, most wells supply clean water for up to 40 years. Lifespan depends on the type and how well you protect it. To help it reach the maximum lifespan, keep hazardous products far from the casing, ensure the cap stays sealed, schedule yearly inspections, and address problems as soon as they appear. Good habits keep the system healthy and the water safe.

The average cost of well repairs ranges from $100 to $2,800. Your final bill depends on which part—pump, pressure tank, casing, or piping—needs attention and the level of complexity involved in the repair. A thorough inspection identifies the problem, allowing you to budget accurately and avoid paying for unnecessary parts or services.
