"This company was assigned to me by American Home Shield, and I got a bad feeling when I met them. The total cost for several repairs and a water heater replacement was partially covered by AHS and my portion of it was to be $840. Kevin Mackey told me I could avoid extra fees if I paid the $840 to his personal Venmo account, and I foolishly did so on July 1, 2025. He was to return to do the work once AHS received the new water heater. Over an entire month went by and I heard nothing. I called AHS and they called him- and he told them he was waiting for them to approve the water heater order. (He never called me or AHS to address that simple issue, which he was well aware of.) They approved it that day and the water heater was supposedly ordered. 2 wks went by and I decided to cancel the job. I called and spoke with Ethan and Kevin, and was told that I would be sent a check for the $840 refund. It is Sept 10th- no refund received from these thieves & they don't answer when I call. "

"I was out of town and my husband called this company to replace a kitchen faucet. We already had the new faucet purchased, so it was just an install. They charged us $502 for an hour and a half of work during normal work hours (and after showing up several hours late). That's $335 an hour for labor! Outrageous and predatory."

From the beginning, he was open to my questions and preferences, and helped me plan and design cabinets to fit in the existing footprint but far surpassed the functionality of my 1980s cabinets. When it came time to do the demo in October, he and his crew were both friendly and professional, and cleaned up after themselves. I watched them repeatedly do calm and focused problem-solving on the fly, and they finished earlier than we expected. Then when they brought the gorgeous cabinets we chose, they were meticulous in their installation and gracious as I watched the whole process from my spot on the stairs.
