"After an initial inspection, I was provided with two options for the repair. Both options were acceptable fixes for the damaged wood. The suggestions were to either replace the post, or remove the damaged bottom and install a cement base to support the deck. There was about $100 difference in the cost between the two options. It was nice to have a cheaper alternative that I had not even considered. Work was completed and looked great."
