"While looking for a plumber to inspect and replace a leaking water heater, I found Rapid Repairs.  I called the number, and was directed to send a text message if I needed a emergent response.  After only a few minutes, I got a response in a text message addressing my issue.  They were professional and answered my questions as best he could without being at my house.  I even got estimates based on my answers.  The only reason I did not utilize their service was that I needed hot water immediately, and they were already on multiple service calls, meaning the earliest they could come out would be Monday.

"They were okay. There were certain things they wouldn't do. They were not very thorough in doing cleaning. Young kids came in to do the work. I don't know whether they did it thoroughly or not because it's hard for me to check it out since you have to climb up a ladder to check the gutters. The price was okay. The work was average."

He looked at the first toilet and determined the entire mechanism inside the tank (float and flapper) needed to be replaced. The second toilet was an easy fix so he did that free of charge. The third toilet he determined only needed a handle, which I told him I could replace myself once I went to purchase the correct handle. So, he completed the repair on the first toilet and as a new customer he honored the 15% of coupon for Angie's List members. I was a little disappointed that a new toilet mechanism with labor costs $175. However, based on my research this price is about $20 cheaper than the average cost to repair a toilet. And the 15% discount ($26.25) also helped to ease my sticker shock. I would recommend Cross County as well as use them again."

"These guys are the real MVPs. As a female, contractors usually try to overprice the work but with Anthony and his partner, I didn't feel that way. I feel like they were honest throughout the diagnostics/evaluation of the problem. The resolution provided matched the recommendation from other companies, but they didn't try to oversell other work that it wasn't necessary and push a "sale" like other companies. Great communication, honest, respectful, quality work, a competitive price and left the space clean! They treated my home like if it were his own. What more can you ask for?!
