"I had the unfortunate experience of a major roof leak which caused extensive interior damage to my attic space and insulation as well as the master bedroom ceiling drywall. All during the rainiest winter in many years and I was at a loss as to how to proceed with repairing the interior water damage, especially with the holidays (and more rain!) fast approaching. Thankfully, MD Flood Restoration came out the day my roof was repaired and began the water remediation and mold removal the same night! I would highly recommend this company for any of your water remediation needs! MD Flood Restoration is responsive, efficient, thorough, and above all else, they go above and beyond to ease the homeowner's worries about the process, taking time to explain the technical aspects of the repairs in a way that was easy to understand, review how the insurance process works, and provide detailed insight and estimated pricing for the repair services. The night they arrived onsite, the crew quickly removed all damaged materials and set up a clean and efficient workspace for the drying fans to run for several days, taking extra care to ensure none of my personal belongings were damaged. They were in and out of my home, effectively and efficiently making the repairs, in less than a few hours, and they were meticulous in their cleanup and in ensuring the remediation equipment and associated tubing were neatly and safely secured so as not to impede any of my living spaces. They also took the time to walk me thru each step of the repairs before they were made, answered my million questions, kept me apprised of the progress as it was completed and made sure I understood all of the repairs and paperwork before they departed. They even provided detailed itemized work orders in the format required for my homeowner claim and worked directly with my insurance company to initiate the claim paperwork. During what has become a very stressful situation that I have ery little control of, MD Flood Restoration completely put my mind at ease about the remediation portion. Patrick and his crew went above and beyond to make sure my home was treated like their own! Cannot recommend this company enough!"

"Very happy with how fast they came out and removed water damage. Employees were very polite, fast and efficient."

"It started off with requesting a quote through Best Air Quality and Restoration. The response time was great. The technician who showed up informed us in advance of his arrival, was very polite, followed Covid-19 safety protocols, was very thorough and did a great job. I also got the dryer vent cleaning which was the complete deal (going to the attic, removing the vent pipe and cleaning the debris). Some other companies claim they do dryer vent cleaning but only vacuum the dryer duct and do not perform the complete dryer vent cleaning which is more involved. I'm very happy with the service and this company and have already recommended them too many of my friends. Keep up the great service Best Air Quality and Restoration!"

"I am in the commercial construction business, found this vendor through Angie's List... Recently my in-laws' had their entire basement flooded, yes, 9' HIGH OF STORM WATER filled to the ceiling, completely ruined a finished basement, HVAC, electrical panel, etc. Armor Restoration gave us a competitive price, and both Norman and Bob were very responsive to our requests, very service-oriented. Armor was prepared to mobilize and git-r-done. They brought out two crews to hand-fill (two!) 30-cubic-yard dumpsters full of ruined stuff and materials. They helped us sort through salvageable personal items, and gave us great advice on just about everything we had questions about. Before they started, the basement was beyond awful smelling (some sewage waste got in too) and making the rest of the house smell too. In two days of working, removal was done, basement was stripped to bare concrete, cleaned, treated with anti-microbial spray, and smelled very clean. Incredible. The workers were all very professional, courteous and took great care to protect the pathway in-out of the basement, which was through the front door. If I had my house flooded, or smoke-damaged, I would hire Armor Restoration in a hot minute. Can't say enough good things about them. Thanks again for being awesome."

"We had a great experience with this company after dealing with unexpected water damage in our home. They responded quickly, arrived when they said they would, and immediately started taking care of the problem. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. They also helped make dealing with the insurance company much easier and less stressful. Everything was handled efficiently from start to finish. I would definitely recommend them to anyone dealing with water damage or needing emergency restoration services"

"We originally found AMS via Angie's List, and the owner came out very quickly to do a free inspection and talk to use about everything he was seeing -- high potential for mold within the walls of the shower, and other possible areas (on drywall of opposite side of walls, floor, etc.) He showed us all readings on the tools he was using, talked to us in detail about what he recommended -- namely, complete destruction of the tile-walled shower due to multiple instances of bad grout (old shower) and the resultant mold problem within the walls as well as on the floor of the shower. He also recommended some touch-up painting with anti-mold paints where water spotting occurred on our main level ceiling, rather than a more complex/expensive and in his view unnecessary ceiling patch. His crew was excellent, keeping things very clean and on schedule and luckily no major issues were found besides demolishing just the existing shower and raising up the old linoleum flooring followed by completely painting all exposed areas with Aftershock anti-mold primer paint to minimize problems in the future. He stayed at the estimate of about $3K for this work as agreed. (I eventually put in a new shower and floor myself.) For his second visit, he came out for another free inspection of some mold exposed in a main level bathroom ceiling when some plaster that had been wet down a few years ago when doing some cleaning broke away. This was a very small mold spot, and had a companion of some other mold shadowed behind wallpaper. AMS did another free inspection of this problem for me today, and advised that it was something I could definitely handle myself - ceiling and walls were bone-dry all around the area and it would be simple to just remove a patch of the wallpaper (which we plan to remove in this room anyway), scrub the mold with appropriate cleaner, re-plaster the small area of the ceiling that would need it, and then paint with Aftershock primer paint. He even gave me recommendations on places to get all my materials, including the brush I would need to match the existing ceiling texture. Even when I offered to pay for the inspection, he refused -- just asked me to write up a couple reviews, which I'm happy to do. I'm the type of person that likes to find high-quality businesses to form relationships with. As much as no one wants to use a mold remediation service, I would definitely call AMS again if I need to."

"Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. And the result is so beautiful--no corners cut, no putting up with mediocre results, all this for the same price and time or less than others quote. Be patient. Be flexible. Talk with Bill about the results you want. Listen to suggestions. Your results will be beyond anything you thought was possible."
