"Austin Wells handled our sinking concrete pad and cracks near my garage. He explained everything, neat, and very professional. My wife and I appreciated how he wore a uniform and conducted himself in as an expert in his field. I would definitely call JES again, in particular, Austin Wells to handle any other concrete leveling issues."

"Good people to work with, professional in every way. Normally when we received 2" of rain water would start entering the basement. When we receive 3" the basement floor would be covered. Two days after installing their system our area received 8.5" of rain and our basement remained dry, not a drop got in the house. These guys know what they are doing."

"The estimator, Dennis accommodated my scheduling requests, and changes in the contract, he was there as well, when the resurfacing started. My driveway needed a specific piece of machinery; so they used their subcontractor, which was excellent too. F&M came back 3 days later, backfilled, mulch, and seeded the bare spots, then a rep came by to check on the finished project. I love the look of my driveway now and would recommend F&M to friends and family!"

"Workman took three days to shore up the foundation of this very old garage. He was polite, and did a nice job. Estimates from several providers were all over the map, since some recommended extensive work involving the use of helical piers, and installation of a new concrete block foundation. I went with more conservative repair.. It looks fine, and I hope I made the right decision."

"Luke and his team installed 2 patios for me and they did a fantastic job! We are so thoroughly impressed with the quality of work; you can tell that Luke takes pride in what he does and we are just so grateful. From our initial consultation to job completion, the process was professional, smooth and timely. These patios are the first phase of our backyard project and we look forward to working with this company again when we install the next phase."

"Great! Kevin Ayres, President of this company, took his time and identified a couple of problem areas where the patio met the foundation and made suggestions before continuing to raise the patio in these areas. He was very professional, helpful and nice. He and his crewmember cleaned up the area and I could not tell they were there, except for having a level patio now. I am so glad I decided on mudjacking with concrete mud combination vice poly foam jacking. The price of poly foam is more and I did not know how much would be used under the slab, so there was no controlling the cost per poly foam companies. Plus, poly foam is a faster process; I was concerned this product could widen the cracks."

"This was a fantastic company! Mr. Stevens is an artist with fencing. Not only are all of our gates, self closing, Mr. Stevens leveled out the area so that they would close and open perfectly. All the vertical slats are perfectly aligned all the way around our yard it matter where the elevation changed. The vegetable garden was fitted with a baffles which has totally foiled pest like raccoons and other animals from getting into the vegetable garden. I love the way my yard looks with the fence because it sets off my flowers perfectly. A fantastic job and a fantastically reasonable price."

"Triserve was the first company to give me an estimate after my basement was flooded. The person who scheduled the visit was always very professional. In one situation, she had to contact me to let me know that the workmen were delayed. The estimator was very thorough and professional and explained what was required to correct the water damage. He took measurements and pictures of my basement. Within two days I was sent an estimate by email which included what was to be done. After I had dealt with two other companies, it was clear to me that Triserve knew more than the other two. Once I scheduled the work to be done, they placed several moisture absorbent dehumidifiers in my basement for several day to dry out the basement. They returned in approximately 3 days to begin the cleanup. Two men arrived at my home on time and the first thing they did was box up the items I had on shelves. They moved them to another part of the house. They worked diligently and only stopped for lunch, for 4 hours. They had planned to remove just the baseboards and to treat the walls; however, they discovered that mold had spread up higher on the wall. They had to remove three walls of paneling and then cut threw the drywall for 3 feet from the floor in most of the basement, the bedroom, family room, small room, and bathroom, including the closet. They didn't anticipate the at amount of damage, but they informed me that more work was required. I agreed to pay the extra fees and they willingly stayed longer to make certain that the work was completed correctly. They removed the carpeting and pad in the family room, cut the drywall in each room three feet from the floor, removed a removed a book case which was now covered in mold. Bags of damaged items were removed from my basement for pick up by Triserve, however, my helpful neighbor moved the items before they could be carted away by Triserve and the items were picked up by the regular garbage pickup. This was not the company's fault. <br /> On the final day they returned to my house, removed the dehumidifiers and determined that the mold was properly removed and the air was much improved. <br /> Also, their estimate was in keeping with the amount my insurance adjuster indicated. <br /> Mehdi and his two colleagues were very professional and they worked very hard. They allowed me to have the humidifiers longer than originally planned. I also want to complement Lori who scheduled appointments. Whenever the workmen were held up, she called to ask if I could wait for a later arrival. This was extremely helpful to me. If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of having water damage to your home, I highly recommend Triserve. I was quite pleased. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Finksburg, MD

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
