"I can’t say enough excellent things about Lance, the service technician who came out! We just purchased our first home so imagine our surprise when barely a month in the large grand chandelier fell from the ceiling in the early morning. I was going to replace it myself but remembered our home inspection pointed out some instances of aluminum wiring in the house so I thought I should have an electrician confirm the outlet was properly done before I go mucking around in the ceiling. Although it cost me an emergency dispatch fee, they had someone in my house first thing the very next morning. Lance was prompt and just so amazing - very kind and careful with keeping our house clean, taking care of the floors and finishings and really went above and beyond to help a very frazzled young family try figure out the mess they just purchased. While he was at our house we opted to have him also see if he could remove two outlets in the dining room from a dimmer switch so they can be always on. He explained the pricing up front and I knew what the job would cost as a final number before he began any work. For the first job, I was very impressed with how thorough and complete he was in taking care of not just the replacement chandelier, but even with safely disposing of the now broken old chandelier for us! He even offered to help move some boxes for the Salvation Army pick-up we had scheduled - I was just blown away by how kind and helpful he was! For the second job, I was so very pleased that he took the time to really figure out what was wrong. He ended up spending almost three hours discovering several issues - including things like faulty attempts at mitigating aluminum wire connection points in several outlets that we received confirmation prior to settling on the home had been fixed. He was able to come up with creative solutions to safely leverage what was already available to solve our problem and the best part is he really took the time to not only do it right, but to explain everything as he went and really helped me learn more about my house and how I can discover and resolve similar problems in the future. Being someone who is always trying to learn I really appreciated his willingness to answer my questions and share his depth of knowledge and experience! In the end, even though the job was a lot longer than either of us thought it would be, and even though the original cause for the emergency dispatch was already resolved, Lance made sure he stayed until we had a solution in place and we still only paid the initial quoted price! Yes, the price did seem a bit high compared to what I’ve seen on other provider’s quoted rates. However, the work really is just that good - absolutely worth it AND charging by the job instead of the hour takes all of the guessing out of how much you will need to pay, not to mention covers situations like this where the job ended up taking quite a bit longer than originally anticipated. We couldn’t be happier. We were so pleased with the service that we also signed up for their annual service plan to avoid emergency dispatch fees in the future and to get their annual safety inspection. There’s a lot of uncertainty associated with buying our first home, but at least we now know who we will call for all of our electrical needs!"

Tim, the technician, was diligent in trying to get us running until a solution could be found. Unfortunately, our unit is just too old. Solid service and response time. If ownership chooses to replace the unit, they will be our guys without a doubt. The owner, Bryan, was very upfront on cost and potential solutions as we have a very, very old building. Everyone involved was very knowledgeable and polite."

"They replaced the part and adjusted some settings so that the a/c would shut off rather than flood the basement were the condenser to break again. The most noteworthy part of their service was their responsiveness. The auto-shut-off led the outside compressor to malfunction and only blow air rather than cool the house. We called them back, and they came right away and fixed everything for no charge. There should have been no charge, of course, but some companies might have tried anyway. Everything now works perfectly. They have earned our business with their professionalism, ability to diagnose and fix problems and, above all, commitment to customer service. I recommend them highly."

Extremely knowable on geo-thermal systems, the repairs were made in timely manner at a fair price, my only regret on this geo unit is I should have had Continental install the system in the first place, it’s seems very likely I would not be haveing the maintenance issues."

"At 7pm on Saturday the 15th, In the middle of the Presidents` Day holiday, the value on my tenant’s apartment radiator started to leak at the rate of 1/2 c every half hour. My house, and the radiator, is 111 years old. I frantically called two 24 hour emergency plumbers and none of them came through. I then called Magnolia, who I had never used before, and Jose Vilche came to my house 40 minutes later. He had to drain the radiators and shut off the water flow as he could not remove the valve, but about 8:20 the next morning he arrived with his assistant, Angel, to cap that radiator and refill the system. He returned on Tuesday, as I had to work on Monday, with his supervisor who was finally able to remove the valve. The radiator stays capped until Tuesday the next week (accommodating my work schedule) when Vincent and Angel install the new valve. I had them also install a new drain valve on a second apartment radiator. So now, after all the draining and bleeding and testing for water balance, the radiators are functioning better than they ever had before. While Magnolia is not inexpensive, the cost was definately worth my peace of mind. Jose was in constant contact with me, he arrived exactly on schedule, explained each step along the way and worked diligently on my horrible problem until it was resolved. Thank you Magnolia- this was a stressful time for me and I was very satisfied with the service I had received!"

"Excellent service. I own a townhouse - nothing fancy, but the crew did a great job. I was surprised and delighted by the seemingly trivial, although once it started raining very useful, service of running lots of water through the gutters and downspouts. Once the fall began and into a rainy October and November - man, those gutters never did it so well. very happy with this service."

"He spent a lot of time explaining things and even went out of his way to help repair a humidifier. In the process, he also found a number of things to be replaced and/or repaired. Assuming my units work properly (its too cold now to really test), I think it was worth it. I was concerned when one unit stopped working during his work. He was able to find that a connection was not working and switched wires. Given all the press about AC repair vendors that find ways to break things so that they need to be replaced, I was wary. In fact, that's why I put off the inspection this long. Nevertheless, the time and effort Ivan spent explaining things to me and showing them to me made me feel more comfortable. So...a $100 inspection turned into a $550 preventative repair, plus more in the winter......but for now, I would definitely call him back."
