"Holtzople honored my request for an appointment after 2pm. Corey called 10 minutes prior to arriving and went right to work inspecting my ac system. He discovered some build up (he didn't call it mold because he doesn't have training in identifying mold but I'm referring to it as mold) on the coils, which he cleaned. He showed me the "mold" inside the coil cabinet and provided options and literature for a UV light resolution without pressure to make an immediate decision. His inspection discovered the system was 2 lbs low on refrigerant. He filled it and noted the level for comparison during the next inspection. Since the ac system was poorly installed several years ago by a different HVAC firm, there's a question if there's a leak or the system wasn't completely filled when installed. I chose Holtzople last fall to replace my 24 year old oil furnace because I wanted a small, local, dependable company for HVAC services. I've found everyone from office staff to salesmen to technicians to be pleasant and focused on my needs. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment.
