They are very knowledgeable, and all the work was done professionally. I do suggest to ensure everything you want is on the bid or it will not get done (my rookie mistake). I had them come out another time to complete the things I forgot to add."

"My appointment time was between 8am and 10 am. The installer (Enrique) arrived at 8:03 am . I had already decided where I wanted the fan to be installed. Enrique looked over the job and said that the location was fine. We talked for about 10 minutes about how the fan would be most effective. Enrique gave me his advice (he has been doing these installations for years). I declined his suggestion for additional vents, since I had a "full ridge vent" installed with my new roof last year. There was no pressure from Enrique, and he assured me that I can have additional vents installed later if need be. When the installation was complete, Enrique demonstrated how the fan works, the distance that the house windows should be opened and other helpful information. It is unbelievable how much air is moved thru the house with this appliance. It is going to be great! Enrique told me that the fan would be noisier in the hallway where I wanted the fan installed...the sound echos in that type of space. Indeed while standing in the hallway, it seems noisy, but in the very next room, the volume was not enough to interfere with watching TV. There is very little noise when the fan is switched to low. Enrique was prompt, professional, courteous, pleasant and well groomed. He respected that I was the customer. He covered the area he was working in and cleaned up when done. He worked quietly...as much as one can when using tools. He is efficient at his job. The whole job was done from knock on the door to driving down the driveway in about 3.5 hours. It is April, and I am sure when Denver gets its streak of 90 degree weather this fan will give the results I want. By the way....Enrique arrived in a fairly new, clean, well organized, well stocked van. This service was top-notch!!! In addition, Seymour, apparently the owner of this shop, interacted with me per email several times last summer, as I was trying to coordinate the fan installation with the new roof project. He spent considerable time giving me information. When I emailed 2 weeks ago I got exactly the appointment time I wanted. Great service all around."

"He worked non-stop and I honestly felt he tried his best to fix the problem. He suggested I continue to use it as a battery operated smoke detector, and that I should install another smoke detector at the other end of the house. I had no problem leaving him in the house when I left to pick up my kids from school. My complaint at this point was his follow up. I had him check our barn, and asked for an estimate to fix the electrical out there. It's been months and he never emailed his estimate. If he wanted more of our business he should have followed up. We need the barn electrical installed, so it was pretty much guaranteed money if he had shown any interest.

"this part of it went well: they dismantled the old fan. they assembled the new fan and installed it. This part not so great: After the new fan was installed when I turned on the switch the fan made a humming noise (which the old fan made, too) and it is really annoying. I asked why it was making that noise. they said because the switch is old. I asked if they could change out the switch. No, they don't carry new switches with them. I bought a new switch at Lowes and called White Rhino. It would cost me another $79.00 for them to come out and install the new switch."

"He did such an amazing job! There was any lights or fans in our old farm house. He has to get power from attic to living room. It was not an easy task but he delivered successfully. Our new fans look awesome and the lights really bright the entire room. We love it!"

"My kitchen lighting was absolutely atrocious. Two enormous florescents and incandescents over the kitchen table, all run on one circuit. As a consequence, My two lighting options were "surface of the sun" or "dungeon."
I approached Doug with a back-of-the napkin sketch of an idea to build a hanging box from my ceiling to put in some indirect lighting and pendants over the island. I also asked him to rip out the fluorescent fixtures and cut the circuit in two so I could control the new kitchen lights and the lights over the table independently. 
The crew from DMC did a great job. They showed up in the morning with the drywall box already built, so all they had to do was dig in. While it took a bit to sort out to goofy wiring left by the builders, once they had that sorted, the job was done that afternoon. They rewired the circuit, cut and mounted the box on the ceiling and textured and painted it to match the existing drywall.
Overall, it was a great experience, the DMC crew didn't make a mess of my house, and they had the job done a lot faster than I thought. They would have installed the lighting as well, but I was determined to prove I could do something handy around the house, and my wife and I hadn't settled on the exact fixtures we wanted yet. Doug was great about making sure I knew what I was doing with the rest of the job.
All in all, efficient, professional service and I got exactly what I was looking for."

"John, owner of Improvement Pros, and his team recently finished a kitchen remodel for us. Although we kept the same layout, the cabinets, counters, kitchen sink, and backsplash were all replaced. His team also added crown molding and trim on the soffit to help it blend in with the cabinets. John is very good about keeping in touch throughout the project, so we usually knew what to expect day-to-day. The project did run longer than expected, but that was because one of his employees took a job overseas and quit without advanced notice. If that wouldn’t have happened, the job would have been finished as expected. To make up for that delay, John worked on a Saturday and gave us a small discount on the overall price. He also strived to make sure that my husband and I were both satisfied with the end results. Not happy about a tile? He’ll fix it. Cabinet doors look just a little off to you? He’ll straighten them. At the end of a project, he asks for honest feedback because he wants to keep improving his business. Since this was the third time he successfully completed a project in our house, we knew we’d be pleased with the results of this project as well. He did not disappoint and we love our new kitchen!"

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"El Toro did a spectacular job for us. Our house is fairly large (7,000 sq. ft.) and they painted every single room including the garage. I am extremely particular about work done on my home and these guys met and exceeded my expectations. Gustavo keeps a very close eye on his crews but in this case that probably wasn't necessary because the crew and their foreman, Lupe, worked extremely hard and took exceptional care of our belongings. We took every picture off the walls along with all the switch and outlet plates and they didn't lose or misplace anything. I will absolutely hire El Toro for any of my future painting or construction needs and will recommend them to any friends or family needing work done...thank you El Toro!!!"
