"I requested replacing a full drain pipe system. When they came, they only fixed the one part that was leaking, not the whole drain. They told me it would cost significantly more to replace the full drain, even though when they came out to bid it, I was very explicit on wanting it all replaced. The leak is fixed, but they also used a white pipe while the rest of the piping was black. They even told me they saw reviews the picture before coming, and still brought and use white piping. So now it is very mismatched."

"Damion was our service technician and he came to clear the roots out of our drains. That was successful but in the process, he expressed concern over the gasket on the sewer plug and tested it to be sure it was firmly sealed. It appeared to be and he had us flush toilets and run faucets to be sure. The seal appeared solid but overnight it slowly showed a leak. We called Reddi Services and Damion was back early the next day to replace the part. He didn't charge us a service call for the second visit and even ran out to find the piece needed (he didn't have the part in his truck so he ran out to find it and charged us just for the part.). We're very satisfied with Reddi Service, have used them several times in the past, and will continue to use their technicians."

"The sink had very thick and longtime build-up that was mostly clogging a big section of pipe and not able to be opened with a "snake". Several feet of pipe had to be removed and replaced. Once the occluded piece was removed, Kyle showed me the ends of the pipe after it was removed and why just trying to shift the caked in debris wouldn't work in this case. I appreciated him showing me (including some photos, as I have a crawl space) along with explaining so I had a better understanding. He was considerate in explanations of the work, wearing a mask, punctuality and in cleaning up after."

"I had a floor drain that was completely blocked and two sink drains that were slow. I filled out an online request for service on a Saturday afternoon, and on Sunday someone called to ask if they could send someone over right away. The young man was pleasant and he got the job done. All 3 drains are running. However, I would try another company next time. I have never before had a plumbing company not put down any protective material to keep the area clean. Fortunately, I had removed all towels, etc., from the bathroom vanities. I didn't mind cleaning the floors, but I spent two hours cleaning up one of the vanities. The plastic shelf liners were beyond salvation and had to be replaced, and the interior of the cabinet was splattered everywhere with that black slime that builds up in pipes. Also, I think I could find a better price than the approximately $350 I paid (after discount) for this one-hour job."

"I just purchased this dated 1970s home so I have had multiple bids for nearly every surface and system in the house.  I had 5 bids for the hot water heater and replacement pipes.  Buhrle was not only the least expensive but they also identified the gas leak I could smell but the gas company said was no big deal (yikes!) and repaired it without having to replace the entire area of piping, which I was completely willing to do to guarantee the leak was found with certainty.  The plumber was polite, professional and efficient.  He updated me throughout the process to include showing me exactly where the gas leak was located.  Buhrle was recommended to me by another service professional and is my new go-to company for my plumbing needs. <br />"

"Randy did an excellent job.  He is very efficient,  knowledgeable (he is a Master Plumber) and friendly.  He had a  fair <br /> price for the time he spent.  We asked him several plumbing questions unrelated to the work that he did and he was really helpful in answering them. We would very much recommend Randy Farris Plumbing. <br />"

"Sean arrived at the appointed time (early morning), he capped off the piping so that new siding could be installed in the area of the faucets.  Water interruption to the house was minimal.  Once the siding was installed, Sean returned in the early afternoon and installed the two new faucets.  Again, water interruption to the house was minimal, and the faucets were installed correctly.  I was completely satisfied with the responsiveness of GRT Plumbing staff, and the professionalism Sean displayed during the installation.  I would recommend GRT Plumbing to anyone who needs plumbing assistance. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Fort Leavenworth, KS

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
