"Sales were informative, but the service team performed all that I asked and more. I would recommend NV Waterproofing to others. Cost was reasonable for the situation."

"Good people to work with, professional in every way. Normally when we received 2" of rain water would start entering the basement. When we receive 3" the basement floor would be covered. Two days after installing their system our area received 8.5" of rain and our basement remained dry, not a drop got in the house. These guys know what they are doing."

"Note - they are very busy, so get on their list early as once Spring hits they are hard to get. <br /> Due to weather, the job got rescheduled a few times ( no problem really), <br /> but they came out and did an awesome job.  The concrete was level, flush <br /> with the sidewalk and none of my landscaping was damaged in the <br /> process.  I was not home for the work, but everything was back in place/ and clean when I arrived Friday evening.   I was able to pay with my credit card and Mark informed me of another issue he noticed regarding my storm drain.   A good heads up which I appreciated.  Overall, a very good experience. <br /> Note <br /> - they need access to a hose bib and electricity to execute the <br /> leveling.  All my utilities were off and back in proper order. <br />"

"One key challenge was the pool, landscaping and deck. They took careful consideration of the surrounding installations including parking the concrete truck on the access road and hauling the concrete into the project. The project manager, Josh Case kept me informed through the process and supervised the final installation. I had been through a number of companies to get this work done, but M&F stepped up and executed professionally."

"We had a very complex front door to install and On the Level did a superior job -- the quality of the work was superb, the price was more than fair, and all of the work was completed in a timely manner. Peter did a great job communicating through out the process --we would hire them again."

"Last year, we needed to replace our 60 year old concrete driveway, and got a few quotes from different companies. Bright (Steve in particular) provided a great, detailed quote, and was very knowledgeable and responsive to our questions, so we went with Bright. We are glad we did. The driveway turned out great. This year, we needed to replace a flagstone walkway and patio, and went with Bright again. Bright's construction team was meticulous, courteous, and responsive to our questions and requests. It was clear from watching Bright's masons work that they took pride in their craftsmanship. The patio and walkway look great."

"We met with 3 companies that came in with low, medium and high estimates. We went with Reph remodeling because we were comfortable with the price (medium), found Selwa to be pleasant with good suggestions and had a willingness to work with us. This would be our first professionally done remodeling effort and we were pretty clueless on how to begin, what to expect etc. I knew we wanted some hand holding to help guide us through the selection process to best achieve the end result I hoped for. What I did not understand in the beginning is that many, maybe all remodelers are affiliated with a store for different kitchen components. Reph Remodeling had us working with a specific person in a specific store of Cabinet Discounters (CD) and the same situation for tile and counter. The staff at CD (Dana, who was the best to work with) did the graphic lay-outs of the "new' kitchen and worked with us on cabinet selection, color, cabinet interiors etc. We also purchased our counter top material from Dana. Same with the person at the tile store. Eventually, Dana came to the house to do final measurements and could then see what was to be accomplished in what amount of space - very helpful especially since Ryan came by as well and the 2 of them were able to work out some questions on space that allowed us to get a corner cabinet with lazy susans as well as a double bowl sink. No matter who your contractor is be sure to check drawings and sizing of cabinets carefully.   The Reph team that came every day to do the work were very nice, were respectful of our home, cleaned up well every day and called me when there was a doubt about something. Among other things this was very helpful in my getting a nice balance of door knobs and drawer pulls instead of all knobs. Ryan was also very helpful in coordinating his teams work with another contractor who would be refinishing our hard wood floors in the kitchen. The job was finished just a few days later than estimated. Although Ryan and Selwa responded to my calls in good time I would have liked them to have initiated calls to keep me informed on when the new components for the kitchen arrived and were in storage or a phone call to say we were on target for the start date. Especially because my husband understood that there was some question as to whether the cabinets and especially the counter material would arrive in time for the start date. The start date was provided in the contract before new component selections began.  We made our selections shortly after signing the contract (we were limited to looking on weekends). We selected cabinets and counter first and 2 weeks later the tile. We selected the tile quickly because we were given a sense of urgency to make our tile selection to have it arrive on time. As a result we did it in about an hours time and without Selwa - don't do that! Selwa offered to go with us, but it was a Saturday and I wasn't sure I should bother her since we were meeting with a store professional. But in hind sight it would have been helpful because Selwa had seen our kitchen and could have helped translate my ideas with her knowledge of the kitchen. Don't rush your selections of any component and make use of your contractors decorating insight. In summary, I would hire Reph Remodeling again and have recommended them to friends already. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Fort Myer, VA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
