"I have been a loyal customer of this company every summer for about 5 years. Primarily for lawn mowing but also more recently for weed and fertilization. I really had no issues thr first few years...thought they offered a good service for a very good price. On occasion there would be divet or track mark left in our lawn. However this past Monday may 13th our backyard was completely destroyed. There are absolutely no other words for it. It's like they went drag racing in our backyard with a lawn mower. I am including photoa of the effects still a few days later after even being washed down a bit...it is not merely trampled grass. We had planted a lot of expensive grass seed this spring from merrifield garden center and outlr backyard now is completely destroyed. I will never be using this company again and hoping I can find another company still available for the summer."

"Backyard Ponds is magic. I have a small backyard pond,stream and waterfall that have been
leaking for years. Various workmen had poured concrete into it, slathered mortar
between stones and sprayed special waterfall foam all over the sides of it. My
pond, stream and waterfall continued to leak. Hilary of Backyard Ponds looked at it for a while, moved one
stone and fixed the leak. How did you do that! I yelled. Well after you work on
enough of these things you get an eye for what the problem could be. Then she
vacuumed all the mud that had been clogging the pum , reattached the waterline
and pump that I could never get to stay together, restacked the rocks along the
edge of the stream so they actually sat on top of each other instead of sliding
down at all angles, and added a few strategically placed rocks to hide the pump
and waterline and cover the rubber sides of the stream. She added a regulator to
the water line so I could make the water run fast and slow. And more. I have had
a pond and stream for fifteen years, and many people have worked on it, from
expensive professioanl landscapers to guys I would swear the contractor picked
up off the street corner. The difference in using someone who specializes in
ponds is stunning. Backyard ponds is
magic.

"the project couldn't have gone better. i had gotten another estimate from my heating oil company. their estimate was more than twice as much as Willard's. Billy came out as soon as i called. and as soon as he came out he told me more about what was going on than my oil company which has been serving the house for more than a year and had given me 2 estimates for the tank removal. billy gave me an estimate quickly and was able to schedule the work within a couple weeks. his team came out and very quickly and professionally removed the tank. the Willard group handled all the paperwork and pulled all the permits. Billy's company filed all the claims for re-embursement from the VA recovery fund and all i had to pay was what wasn't covered. i don't expect to need their services again but i would enthusiastically recommend the willard group to anyone who needs their services."

"Mr. Wilburn's crew showed up on time Thursday to rake my leaves.  They had to reschedule when the weather turned unfavorable in the middle of their work.  The crew returned Friday as promised to finish the work.  Since I was at the office that, I could not hand them the check in person.  Mr. Wilburn let me mail it.  My contractor was in the house that day take care of a project and commented that the crew did an excellent job.  I inspected the results afterwards and agree.  Mr. Wilburn's company will be back next year to mow my lawn and take care of my other landscaping needs.

"RDM Landscaping expertly removed a huge, nature, dead chestnut oak without harming the fence and terrace next to it. They also did excellent pruning is a sugar maple that was planted too close to the house. The tree is healthier and better-shaped due to the expert work. The crew went above-and-beyond our expectations with the yard clean-up following the tree work."

"Not as planned since the shower replacement faucet was so corroded that Wayne could not remove the valve. He ended up opening up the wall to replace the piece containing the valve. He also checked the water pressure and adjusted it. He did not charge us for it. He also made a minor adjustment on the outside faucet without charge. Overall, Wayne was courteous and explained/showed me what he was doing. I would recommend this company to anyone requiring plumbing/sewer repairs."

"Excellent service! It started when Steve came out to analyze the situation. He recommended we do some minor landscaping to try to alleviate the problem. When the landscaping didn't work, he came out a second time, and gave us a quote, he had the best price around and did not charge us for his 2 trips to our house. Steve and his crew arrived on time. They took great care in laying down plastic or cloth to protect the area where they were going to be walking over. They made shift plastic walls to provide protection from the dust that would be generated by their work, while isolating their working area. They promptly started and did not stop until the job was done, 9 hours straight! Although they had to tear up the flooring, remove the baseboards, and cut up the concrete, they were very careful in salvaging as much of the flooring, baseboards, and dry wall as they could. In fact, the drywall damage could be covered up with new baseboards, and I could use 90% of the flooring again! The other 10% was water damaged, and not due to their work. They did a great job of filling in the concrete flooring as well. Steve and his crew, then took their time to clean up, and did a great job of that as well. Steve and Mary, both had great communication, and answered all of questions and concerns without talking down to us, great customer service! I would strongly recommend them, and would definitely use them again! Extremely professional."
