It went well.  It look maybe a day longer than the initial quoted timeframe.  The crawlspace was old (1940 home) and it was full of junk, debris, etc.   They cleaned it very well and it looked great.   Floor was repaired using high quality design/material, and new beam made a big difference.

They accepted payments 50% and 50% via check and credit card.   Eddie was professional and his team took care of business.   The price was in the middle of some other quotes I received but he was able to meet my short term timeline.

"I am always very skeptical when it comes to people working on anything that I am responsible for. With that in mind our home is 30 years old and was in need of painting and some areas around our windows, gutters and chimney were rotting and in need of repair. Gonzalez Painting came out and did an estimate that I was unfortunately unable to be present for. So I called them and rescheduled a time for me to talk with the painting team and I walked around the house with them and talked through my concerns. After we finished, they got started immediately. They worked for two days to finish the work. 2 guys the first day to work through the majority of the carpentry and caulking that needed to be done as well as the window treatment. The 2nd day a team of 4 people came by and worked like a well oiled machine. Since I do carpentry myself I would say their level of work in the area of carpentry is a 7 but the level of detail, knowledge, skill and efficiency of their painting, is at least an 8.5 but I would give them a solid 9 for our home. Our home is just under 2500 sq ft and they did an amazing job. The house looks amazing and I would recommend them to anyone. Not to mention they pressure washed and stained our deck. Great team, wonderful work, and a 99.9% satisfied customer. Please give them a call."

"Joe and his crew were punctual, professional and extremely competent.  They assessed the extent of decay of the soffits and fascia on our 54 year old, 1800 sq ft house and carried out the repairs. They replaced many rotten boards, often with no evidence of a seam or other repair marks.  ..They scraped away old layers of peeling paint and repainted.  They caulked and leveled the gutters.   Joe , the owner, did much of the work himself and showed us what he was doing every step of the way.  He gave us tips on how to maintain the work.  Shortly after he completed the work, we had a downpour and all the seams and work held well.  He kept to the estimate, even when a few things were unexpected that caused him a bit more work.  And he left our yard and porches clean.  We will certainly call him again for other similar jobs."

"From the first contact to the last, Backyard Custom was professional. The whole experience was easy. Due to the recent snow storm, we had to delay the job for three days. I was involved in the construction industry my entire career and I can testify that this was one of the most efficient and well constructed projects I have seen. "The employees were very respectful and were very good at keeping our home protected from Constrution dust and debris. Richard was very knowledgeable when ask questions about how the schedule would work and explained to my wife each and every step that it would take with such an undertaking of this project. He was able to work with her and help with all the selections of cabinet designs as well as picking counter tops and plumbing fixtures. All the subs he brought in were very professional and all phases of our project was done in a timely manor. With times we live in now nobody really wants strangers in their homes.
