The only thing I did not like that much was that they used the fabric covers (big sheets of fabric) to cover the floor and they were pretty dusty (I guess from their previous work). I would advice them to use either disposable paper or plastic or wash the fabric cover if they get dusty."

"We were not pleased with the work of this company.  While the price is right, there were so many things that went wrong on the job that I'm not sure if I can remember all of them.
First of all, when I hire a painter, my assumption is that they will work on my job only until the project is complete.  This was not the case.  The painters left the job for days on end, being called to other locations.  The work was sloppy in numerous places - we had to keep calling them back to correct things.  I also had bedroom furniture damaged when the workers moved my end tables to another room - they didn't take the care necessary to protect them.  Walls under light covers/cable covers were not painted - they were left the original color of the rooms.  My bedroom wall has cracked in one place already - as they didn't do the repair needed in that area evidently to prevent that from happening.  Paint has chipped in other areas - something which should not happen so soon after completion.
At exterior painting they also didn't take care to protect elements of the home properly.  I had paint spatter covering newly installed railings at my front walkway, stains applied incorrectly on wood lattice which they installed (numerous empty areas - should have used a spray gun for that or painted it before installation), totally ruined my exterior balcony door with using too thick a layer of paint on it.  There were paint brush hairs all over the door as well, paint on screens (why they weren't removed or covered is beyond me), spattered paint on a custom mailbox, and the same on our house number plaque.  
There is more, but I'll just leave it at it was an extremely sloppy job which took literally WEEKS to complete and I was told it would take less than 1 week.  
While there were some circumstances that made the job take longer (some weather related and some of his workers having personal problems), the amount of errors exceeded what would be considered excusable.
The only good thing I can say is that from far away, the house looks ok and, the owner Phil (others mention a different name, not sure why) tried to be as pleasant as possible throughout this.

     I highly recommend Diversified Painting Contractors.  A fair and reasonable estimate was given for the exterior painting and deck staining.  I was also told in advance of the days and times they would be coming, and they reliably followed through for the next 3 1/2 days.  They did an extremely thorough job of power washing, scraping, and sanding.  A special weather-resistant paint was applied to the underside of the roof, which readily chips due to bad weather.  The front support columns were well reinforced.  John Russell is quite knowledgeable about home painting and related repair work.  I am extremely pleased with their very neat and clean work, ultimate professionalism, and courtesy.

"It was a difficult project requiring the removal of current siding, then significant patching, sanding and carpentry to prepare the original clapboard for paint. The crew was very hard working and super creative when it came to solving problems. They showed up on time every day and finished the project according to schedule. "They were great experiences. We have worked with Platinum several times because we liked their prices, punctuality, and professionalism. The first time we hired them was to remodel our guest bathroom. We had a tub/wall combo that we didn't like and wanted to replace with new tub and tile. We got several proposals, but many of them were over priced and they always would end up breaking most of the bathroom. Platinum proposed a cleaner job also at a lower cost. It was great! We were not happy with how the cubby in the shower was made, and we didn't say it to them until after a few months, they still came and fixed it! The second time we had them was a few months later to remodel the kitchen. We wanted a bigger island and to get rid of a fridge in the middle of the kitchen and move it to a side. We asked them for a quote before we asked anyone else. We were so happy with the price that we didn't even ask other companies for any quotes. They moved the fridge and opened up space for the new fridge with the existing cabinets. The also installed the new island and re did the kitchen floor from tile to wood. They made it match with the floor we already had in the living room. It was great as well! Third time we hired them to put a wall outside our house. When we bought the house, it seems like the living room was an extension made on a deck. The underneath the deck was never covered, therefore the living room was always cold. Platinum put insulation and a new wall. We had at least 2 other contractors give us a quote, but then we finally asked Platinum again (we didn't ask them initially because we weren't sure they did that type of job). Well, they gave us a proposal and it was lower than the others, and again with guys we already knew. It was an easy decision. Then the last job we used them for was a few weeks ago to convert out master bath from a tub (kind of Jacuzzi) to a stand-up shower. They came to give us the price almost immediately. They were available for inspections, and they were even available for picking up permits or materials if I couldn't do it myself. I was very pleased with their job. I made a mistake getting the wrong tiles; they noticed when they started putting up the tile and saw the difference. I felt terrible, but they were so patient and helpful. They just removed the tile and waited for me to get new one. I really recommend these guys!!!! They have also done a few other smaller jobs in my house, like repairing a hole in the wall that my nephews made playing soccer inside the basement. Repairing a leak in the kitchen ceiling. Repairing a broken piece in the second floor wooden floor...I think I lost count. The price i am putting down below is only for the master bathroom as I don't remember the other prices."

"The HJ team did a great job.  Prompt in initial response.  On-time to begin and end the job. Were very careful to protect furniture and flooring and did an excellent job I cleaning up after them selves.  Were trustworthy (left them with the house keys), and quality was all I expected.
