"Went very well as usual, prompt, courteous & reliable. Could not reproduce the issue on day of but had plumber check pipes in crawlspace just for peace of mind. No issue found, most likely air in the pipes which cleared itself."

"The line was in the rafters of a high ceiling of the cellar. It led to an outside gas line (for a gas grill hookup) that was capped off at the house. I wanted to replace the valve rather than cap it off. This was a two man job of a plumber, Rob and his assistant. Rob had to get into the window well and work above his head in a very cramped space. This was complicated by having a large porcelain washtub directly under neath it, blocking access. Rob was extremely careful when climbing to get to the valve. They put down a plastic sheet to protect my washer and the sink, and used their ladder to get over to the wall and window well. Rob cut out the valve and put in a new one that is easy to open and close. He had his assistant check the position of the outside outlet as he worked until he adjusted it so the outside outlet was not turned askew. Btw It was raining and his assistant noticed mud on his boots, and asked for a paper towel when we got in the house...he used it to wipe up his footprints from the mud from his shoes as he walked... Rob checked for leaks and found none. They took any of the debris with them, and left everywhere they were spotless. Also, their last job was running longer than anticipated, and they called to let me know even though at least 30 minutes before. It was only about 15 minutes. Well mannered and professional...Could not have been better!

"During the busiest time of the year my system stopped working. I contacted several companies (4) and the third to visit my home was the owner of Indoor Air Technologies, Sam. Sam is a gem. He explained my problem so that I fully understood, again he told me of his plan and again I fully under stood. Not only was Sam the most pleasant of everybody he also had the best price. When the others told me what they would do (easiest for them and most expensive for me) Sam suggested work-arounds to get the job done without a lot of sub-contractors. Indoor Air Technologies did everything from parts to permits to installation. XXX completed the work on schedule working well into the evening. After the job was done I had some questions and true to form the office staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend them; I would without hesitation use them again."

"I initially met with Doug on Wed July 17 to get an estimate and to test the water pressure to make sure that the system would work.  Doug was very professional, courteous and explained everything to me.   When he left he told us that his plumbing sub-contractor would install the pump the following thursday and the plumber  would call us directly to schedule a time.  The plumber never called, but showed up on Thursday unannounced at 8am.  He told us he was very busy and was just dropping off the pump and would come back on saturday to install it.  He was supposed call to schedule a time but once again he never called, and this time he didn't show up either.  I called Doug to see what had happened.  Doug immediately got the subcontractor on the line and we rescheduled for the following tuesday.  Doug told me to call his office to confirm the appointment and I did but requested to get a call back or email back to confirm a time so that somebody would be home to let the plumber in.  I believe it was an answering service that I left the message with, but I got no response.
On tuesday the plumber showed up at 8am again, unannounced again to install the pump.  He was there for a few hours and ended up doing a solid job from what I can tell.  He installed some additional piping and a check valve in the basement with the pump. Without filling up the pit, there isn't any way to test to see if the pump is working properly but I can hear water running through it when I lift the float so it seems to be in working order.  I did notice a few days later that my sprinkler system wasn't working and realized that the plumber didn't turn a water valve back to its prior position to allow the water to flow to the sprinkler system.  Probably just an oversight, but something important enought that the plumber should have realized.
Overall, the scheduling didn't go very smoothly, but the quality of the work was solid, price was reasonable, and Doug seems like an honest guy who tries to provide the best service to his customers possible.  I would consider using A-1 in the future.

"Rightway Waterproofing is the company you want to come and waterproof your basement. I had initially set up a job looking for pros through Angie's List. I was contacted by Rightway Waterproofing via phone and email but did not respond as life happens. Well it rained really heavy again in August and I had more water in the basement. I reached out to them on a Friday and Albert contacted me immediately. They were able to come out on Monday to look at my property. Jake was thorough and friendly. He let me know what he thought we needed, explained everything thoroughly and gave us a quote which was completely reasonable. We accepted the bid and work was to commence on Thurs as they had an opening. Work was completed in one day. The area was kept pristine and they did an amazing job. The crew was courteous to my family. I could not recommend them more. I hope to have them out again at some point to finish my basement area as well. Try to keep in mind that during the season of covid many families are looking for ways to make more space in their homes or to have to home projects done. If you are waiting for work to be done just know that it is worth it! Thanks Rightway!!!"

"The server providers fixed the broken valve to the pipe and replaced the broken pipes. They had to remove the kitchen cabinets to get to the broken pipe in below freezing weather and re-install the kitchen cabinets. They also had to fix and re-insulate the new remodled bathroom from the water damage that another service provider did the work on the remodled of the bathroom. I did not get off of Angie's List.
RupCoe Plumbing Heating and Aircondition did an awesome job in fixing, repairing and re-installing all work involed to fix the broke water pipe. I highly recommend them to anyone. They were professional, prompt and kept me well informed."

"Everything went well with the inspection, but there was no "tune-up" (whatever this was supposed to be). Employee was on time, as well as called 1/2 hour ahead to advise of his arrival time. He was courteous and professional. I certainly hope that my sump pumps continue to operate for several more years, but I would not hesitate to call this company if there is a problem.

FAQs for well pump repair or service projects in Freehold, NJ

A standard well inspection begins with a visual inspection of the pump, casing, storage tank, and wiring, followed by flow rate tests and laboratory-based water sampling. The goal is to confirm that every part meets safety standards and to identify any necessary repairs before they become expensive. An inspector will also test your water quality for substances such as volatile organic compounds and any local containment concerns.

Book a licensed, insured well specialist for your inspection. Many well‑pump contractors also hold inspection credentials. They’ll bring the right tools to assess the pump, wiring, and water quality, and provide you with a clear report on any necessary fixes. Before you hire, confirm their license, insurance, and recent customer reviews.

Plan on a full well inspection every year. You’ll also want one any time the cap comes off, after septic repairs, or if flooding occurs. Annual tests look for total and fecal coliform; every two years, the lab should screen for metals and nitrates, and every five years for VOCs and pesticides. If you’re buying a home with a private well, it’s essential to schedule a pre-purchase inspection.

With routine care, most wells supply clean water for up to 40 years. Lifespan depends on the type and how well you protect it. To help it reach the maximum lifespan, keep hazardous products far from the casing, ensure the cap stays sealed, schedule yearly inspections, and address problems as soon as they appear. Good habits keep the system healthy and the water safe.

The average cost of well repairs ranges from $100 to $2,800. Your final bill depends on which part—pump, pressure tank, casing, or piping—needs attention and the level of complexity involved in the repair. A thorough inspection identifies the problem, allowing you to budget accurately and avoid paying for unnecessary parts or services.
